GoogleWell we would just like to say we are truely disappointed with Gilbert & Rose. Especially with the initial Sales Team. Having had Sam come in and discuss with us what the minimum price would be acceptable for our property. We had a whole host of viewings of which the people quite clearly had not been vetted. Some hadn't even put their own property up for sale, some arrived much later, one being over 5 hours later than appointed time and another one week before! There seemed too much confusion over appointment times. Gilbert & Rose insisted on a member of their team to be be in attendance to show prospective buyers around, and quite often turned up late or not at all. My wife ended up taking care of most of the veiwings (to be fair we preferred it that way) Because the staff who turned up had not been to the property beforehand and as such had no real knowledge of the layout of the house. Very disappointed, unprofessional and would not recommend. Brenda and Cliff, from Hullbridge Road.

GoogleI have been working with and had my portfolio managed by G and R for some time now. Although all the staff I have dealt with have been efficient, well presented and knowledgeable. Ben, Yvette and Sarah have stood out for their genuine professionalism throughout. They have always showed a genuine interest in their job and have always dealt with the business with diligence, impartiality and in an expeditious fashion. Highly recommend them in every aspect. 👌

GoogleExcellent is the word I'd use to describe the service from Gilbert &Rose every step of the way with the sale of my house. They are definitely not the cheapest but I feel the saying you get what you pay for is absolutely right . I was with another agent previously ,a lot cheaper but very few viewings no one in particular dealing with your sale ultimately a bad experience. From the start with G & R I had Ella who was handling the viewings ,I couldn't believe it she had them coming fast and furious within a couple of weeks I had an offer and onto the next stage.I had Karen taking charge of keeping in touch with the solicitors and it turned into a 5 house chain but she was so on top of things ,I never had to chase anything she was always in touch with me before I had chance to ask .The house I bought/moving into was actually from G & R and Ed was just the same ,really efficient and on the ball .They all have their specific parts to play in the firm but work together as an excellent team . They are definitely a five star estate agents .

GoogleGilbert and Rose recently sold my property in Essex. They did so in a depressed market, at a price that broke the ceiling on the road in which I lived and in 8 days from engaging them. From the first day of meeting Spencer to the day of completion, professionalism was at the core of all interactions and contact with all members staff. They did an exceptional job of taking the photographs of my home and then presenting them on their website, right move etc. The accompanying narrative was superb. It was comprehensive, informative and really focussed on the main selling points. Ryan carried out the accompanied viewings and did so in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable way. He did this by walking through room by room with me, asking questions and making sure that he was aware of all of the features before undertaking any viewings. Once the offer had been accepted, their progression team kept me informed of progress and potential delays and drove the sale, through contact with solicitors and the buyer. They truly made the whole process appear uncomplicated and friendly. The various packages that they offer are very competitively priced against other agents and with the promise of no sale = no fee. I wholeheartedly recommend this company, I found them to be genuine, friendly and professional with a commitment that's hard to match in today's market.

GoogleGilbert & Rose recently sold my flat for me, and I am extremely pleased with the service and outcome I have received. From past experiences with estate agents, I have always felt the service was really poor and there was no communication. I always had to do the chasing and when I did, there was never any update, or the update was too late for me to do anything with it. I was looked after very well from day 1 by Alfie Hall and Megan Oliver, who contacted me pretty much every day with updates on viewings and the outcomes of those viewings and was successful in achieving the price we discussed quickly. I am confident anyone using this service will not be disappointed & I can highly recommend them.

GoogleWe cannot praise Ed and Claire from Gilbert and Rose enough. They were both just brilliant! Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We were constantly kept informed and updated during the entire selling process. Ed sold our house within two weeks whilst we were on holiday. We left our keys in his very safe and capable hands and he showed buyers around in our absence. Claire then progressed the sale in a positive and informative manner. She applied exactly the correct balance of pressure; enough to find out what was happening at all times, but not too much to become an irritation. Well done guys, you made selling a potentially challenging house a total breeze!
