GoogleWe changed to Gilbert and Rose having used a couple of other cheaper local estate agents first. The cheaper agents were full of promises, saying they had lists of potential buyers, told us the flat was worth the very high end of where we hoped and it was advertised as such which sounded great to us. It was not true, there appeared to be very little interest at all and the price was lowered significantly in a very short time. Three offers falling through and nearly 7 months wasted we were so disappointed. We decided that we'd try multi agency and we got Gilbert and Rose on board. What a breath of fresh air! I cannot explain the difference in service, so professional, no bull about the price, they were realistic. They really do know the market and they simply do not stop trying to get buyers interested so after seeing what they did in 2 weeks we decided to go solo with them. We got an offer fairly soon after which we accepted and they were constantly monitoring and chasing solicitors etc, building great rapport with both ourselves and also the buyer. We all knew where we stood. We had Jody in the beginning for sales and Charlene saw us through to the end on sales progression. These two really are a credit to this company. Jody with her constant dedication to getting potential buyers through the door and being on hand what seemed like 24/7 and Charlene who, given some of the obstacles thrown in the buyers way, fought tirelessly to see this through to completion and I really do believe that without her it may never have happened at all. If you want total dedication, professionalism and to be kept in the loop then this is the Estate Agent for you. Yes they may cost a little more but you get what you pay for and I would 100% recommend them.

GoogleOur buying experience through Gilbert & Rose has been truly exceptional - even with a number of obstacles along the way. Both our pre sales agent (Sam) and post sales agent (Charlene) have been shoulder to shoulder with us all the way. With an aborted purchase (flakey seller withdrawal at point of chain completion) and a new[ish] build that’s required lots of administrative hoop-jumping to keep lenders and solicitors happy, they made an emotional journey as smooth as possible. We didn’t sell through Gilbert & Rose (for family loyalty reasons with another agent), but next time they’ll be my first port of call.

GoogleHighly professional. Megan Evans recently found tenants for our rental property. She is very knowledgeable and could not have been more supportive. We had some stressful moments but she was always at hand to give us advice and guidance when needed, helping to make the whole procedure run smoothly. We wouldn't think twice about recommending her to any prospective landlord or tenant. In fact, over all we have found Gilbert & Rose to be a very ethical and forward thinking Company who we will be happy to use again.

GoogleI dealt mainly with Charlene Franklin but had dealings with Sales Leads at the start of the process and some of Charlene's colleagues during times of absence. All dealings were very good... with Charlene, my experience was superb - controlled, proactive, agile, quick to respond.. at all times I had confidence that my case was in good hands, that I would be told about things I should know and that if there was an issue it would be handled. Purely on the strength of the confidence that Charlene gave me, I would recommend the entire company and would use them again personally without hesitation.

Ryan Reece always answered my one million questions with patience and a smile on his face, while always accommodating my needs. I also love how friendly and knowledgeable he is.
