I can’t praise Gilbert & Rose enough! From start to finish they have been amazing! From Jodie in sales to Karen in sales progression! …they have been amazing! …it was not an easy sale :) and Karen was exceptional - she kept us updated daily and truly we could not have asked for better service! Gilbert and Rose were working on behalf of my vendor. It was a rather problematic conveyancing but Karen Summers was acting as go-between with the vendor and myself. She was such a great help under stressful circumstances. Always available to help with problems and cheerful and sympathetic...and she got things done! On completion day I had my removal van outside my new property and we still hadn't completed. Karen was WFH that day but another member of the team made phone calls and reassured me until finally, at 5pm, I was given the keys. I cannot speak highly enough of the Gilbert and Rose team at Leigh-on-Sea. Even though they weren't employed by me they couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely use them if I were to move again.

Gilbert & Rose exceeded all my expectations in securing the sale of my property and the purchase I had set my heart on. Sam and Josh worked tirelessly to market and sell my property quickly and secure my purchase. There were considerable delays and lack of communication between the solicitors but Charlene took matters in hand. She kept us all informed, chased up outstanding issues and went the extra mile to ensure that exchange took place within our deadline. Unfortunately had the misfortune of trying to sell a house with this company. Their only tactic seems to be to drop the price. Came back with a offer of 50k less than the property was worth and when I rejected asked me what I wanted from the process.. Well the asking price would be a good start. Also wanted to view a house fairly recently. Made the booking only to find out on the day that the vendor hadn't been contacted. As a cash buyer they could've made their money very quickly but now I will have nothing to do with them. Amateurs who wasted my time.

G&R sold our flat within a week. Sadly we had a couple failed sales, but each time it was resold within a few days. When it came to sales progression, Karen was phenomenal! I sadly had a poor solicitor, who on countless occasions, could have caused the sale to fall through. If it wasn’t for Karen’s constant attention to detail, endless chasers and amazing communication, I don’t think we would have ever got to complete. She managed both me and my buyer daily and stayed close to the sale the whole way, which went on for MONTHS. This wasn’t your normal sale, but Karen was a constant source of hope and kept things moving. She genuinely went above and beyond what should ever be expected. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for all she did for us. I encourage anyone selling their property to go with G&R. The entire team are amazing and make the whole process personal. Cannot recommend them enough.

We sold and bought a property with G&R, Sam and Ed made selling a really easy process and we sold it on the first day of viewings with multiple offers. When our first buyers changed their mind in the first week they had a backup offer in place immediately. Karen was an integral part of the progression process and when the new build developers we were buying from pulled out, Karen moved heaven and earth to keep the rest of the chain in place and supported us in finding our dream family home. She listened to me cry when it felt like it was never going to work out and even when the developers were being very unhelpful she continued to try and find a solution. As soon as Josh helped us find a second house Karen picked right up where she left off and pulled everyone together in the right direction and get us that much longed for completion date. I would not hesitate to use Gilbert and Rose again and highly recommend Sam and most of all Karen Summers who has been a real credit to G&R.

My experience with Gilbert & Rose was outstanding from start to finish. I sold my property and bought my new property both through them and couldn’t be any happier. The level of professionalism was second to none, the attention to detail and the communication whether late at night or over the weekend was constant. I will 100% be using them again in the future if and when I move again and will be recommending to all my friends. Ed helped me sell my property and buy my new one. He was unbelievable throughout. We were regularly on the phone on a Sunday and he helped me through every step. Michelle was my sales progressor and I am genuinely going to miss speaking to her every day! She was amazing throughout the process and was the only one to keep me sane. She was on top of every parties solicitors on a daily basis and explained in simple terms every step so I knew what to expect and how it worked. Fantastic Estate agent, I dealt with Joby when viewing multiple houses, he went the extra mile and knew everything about the properties I viewed. Made us feel relaxed when viewing the property and could answer all of our questions with out the hard sell of other agents. He gave us time to look around with out any pressure. Joby helped me through the offer process and kept me fully up to date with the purchase. Would not hesitate to recommend Joby or the team.
