I didn't have a great experience with Spencer's. The photos and write-up about the property were good, and the house sold in just two days, so they didn't have much to do. However, it took over five months to complete the sale, and I didn't receive a single update without having to chase them. I didn't feel that I got any value for money from Spencer's in Blaby.

Bought my house through them, during Covid and have to say that the experience could not have been any better. Gem advised on mortgages, insurances etc and really was a 'one stop shop' for everything. Jo completed my purchase even with all the adversity at the time. Couldn't recommend them more. We experienced some delays with purchasing our property but during the whole process Jo was amazing! She in fact did more pushing for a date than our solicitors and it was down to her that we actually even got the date we did in the end. It was not her responsibility to keep chasing the solicitors, but she did. Spencers were reassuring, informative and polite. No matter how many times we called and nagged (sorry Jo haha) she listened and helped. Despite the delays we couldn't fault spencers as it was out of their control. Spencer’s estate agents have been in Wigston for longer than I can remember. Having had a couple of valuations locally of 210k, I decided to ask for Spencer’s valuation. My first meeting with Jo was interesting, when she valued the property at 240k. I queried this, and put doubt in her mind based on the other two valuations. The next day she rang me to confirm her valuation to be accurate. As it turned out, she was right and the property went for 5k over the asking price. I feel the service provided by the Spencer’s Wigston team was exceptional. Jo especially went beyond her duties, chasing the buyer’s solicitor and answering queries out of hours.
