GoogleIf anyone needs a letting related issues; just go for Johals Letting Agents in Leicester. I am overwhelmed for their quick response and outstanding behaviour. I have met Olivia for viewing the house and requested her with explaining my situation. She responded promptly in a comfortable manner. Really appreciate.

GoogleHaving based near Heathrow I approached Johals to help me with letting one of our properties based in Leicester. Lettings manager by the name of Suman is extremely unprofessional . Other staff in the office have no polite manner of answering calls and taking messages. I was never updated which resulted in me approaching Harts estate agents. Definitely do not recommend sadly……

GoogleI viewed the house, Johal staff was lovely till I moved in. I was promised that the house would be painted and carpets would be washed before I move into the property. After I moved in, I found out that No painting or washing the carpets have been done. On top of that, Johal staff is gaslighting me and also calling their own staff a liar.. their lack of communication, lack of empathy and such terrible business morals are really frustrating. It’s been a month, no solution or apologies offered to me. I won’t advise anyone to rent a property with JLA.

GoogleTerrible company! They mess people about, lie about houses and have really put stress on what is already a difficult process of moving. I could not recommend them less and would never trust them with moving house again.

GoogleRented a property in May 2020. I am a key worker. From the start communication was poor once they had the holding deposit. Staff are rude, hardly respond and unhelpful when they do respond. If they don’t want to answer your question they will just ignore you. In fact the staff here are the rudest people who try to run a business I have ever encountered. Took 3 months to get the heating fixed. After countless emails and them saying they have no responsibility to repair heating, once I said I will involve Environmental Heath something was done slowly, not to mention I have a young child. They sent 4 workmen to check the same job in a pandemic. Landlord showed up unannounced. Someone not registered was sent for a Electrical repair when I complained I was ignored. When I asked for proof he is registered I was ignored. They sent a home made section 21 after 3 months into the contract saying I needed to leave as the owner was selling. A home made section 21 is not valid nor is a real one until after 4 months into a tenancy. Anyway, the property was back on the market a day after I left with a £45 per month increase. So, they made a key worker move in the middle of a pandemic for greed. Once I left they took 2 weeks to return the deposit as with the landlord they were trying to ring my energy provider to check my details and bills. Even I can’t speak to my energy provider with out clearing security so they were in breach of GDPR. Eventually I got my full deposit back after several calls. My experience with this company has been the worst at a time we’re people should of been supporting each other especially key workers. Not putting them in a position to find housing at a difficult time for greed.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
**Tenant review**Hi Samita, thanks for leaving a review but unfortunately it doesn't tell full story. as you have mentioned we managed to send contractors even in pandemic after they were refused entry by you on several occasions. we have 24 hours fault reporting tool which you ignored. You were given discounted rate because you stated you are key worker. you were given your full deposit back well within stated time. we tried everything to make sure your tenancy was as smooth as possible but unfortunately you were still not happy. we wish you luck in your future move. thanks Johals Team.
