GoogleJust moved into my second year house and it’s been the most stressful awful and disgusting experience.
The house was filthy and clearly has not been cleaned in a long time, we have no wifi and we are getting letters to say that we are being fined for not having a TV licence and not paying our gas bills, when we are paying a ridiculous amount of money to have all bills included.
The amount of broken furniture, broken electrics, a whole in the floor, a leak in the ceiling, broken locks, inadequate lighting…. the list goes on.
We have been proactive, clear and polite when asking the landlord and agency to solve these problems but it has been several weeks and we are getting few responses.
I am so disappointed, angry and frustrated.

Extremely unprofessional and disappointing Letting Agency, we recently moved into our second year house to find it unclean, unsafe and without the basics we were told we would have. We had trusted this agency to provide us with a service we have paid for since May this year and have been completely let down and disappointed, if you are considering using this agency next year for housing please reconsider your options before signing anything.
Within the last 2 weeks we have been left with an unclean house, covered in dust, cobwebs and grease with multiple leaks and no wifi for our first week living here, costing us even more with data bills. Our utility room has been flooded with water making it completely unusable leaving 4 of us without a washing machine and fridge due to the flood on the floor, and since the agency does not operate on weekends we have no option but to live like this until it is fixed probably not anytime soon considering how long everything has taken.
I wish I could have left a more positive review but due to how we have been treated by this agency and our landlord and the state out house has been left in I do not have anything positive to say about them.

GoogleI have let a house via first for lettings for the first time.
I had read the reviews and they exceeded my expectations.
The lovely lady Sharon over saw everything and was easily approached.
Nothing was ever too much and always made sure we had everything we needed.
I'd certainly recommend first for lettings as Sharon has made the whole experience as stress free as possible.
There's not many companies that will treat you as a person and not just another signature on a contract.

FacebookGet your house contract with anyone but First4lettings. They have charged me and my housemates over £700 of our deposit for cleaning and maintenance when we spent 2 days scrubbing the house and weeding the garden. These charges include over £45 to replace lightbulbs when non in the house were broken. This company also left us in a house for a number of months with a broken fire alarm when we reported this fault a number of times.

GoogleWere absolutely terrible when used during my time at uni. Didnt care about fixing problems until you threatened to not pay rent. All uni students avoid if you can, they only fixed my maintenance issues when I left a 1 star review and said they'd get it repaired if i changed it. Only use if you really have too, terrible letting agents.
