They sent a letter saying I'd listed my property with a company I'd never heard of at an amount I'd never seen mentioned anywhere before. The name on the letter was correct but I noticed the printed address was wrong. When I phoned and spoke to Lewis, he said the message regarding the property listing was automated. This is a ridiculous practice that can only cause confusion; I imagine it might seriously concern an older/more vulnerable person if they saw that come through the post, telling them they've listed their property when they've done no such thing. I've asked not to be contacted by them again.

I’m very disappointed with this…

I’m very disappointed with this agency’s service. We travelled from another city for a viewing, only to find that the tenants hadn’t been informed and were not home. Later, when we asked to visit the property to take measurements for furniture and appliances after our virtual viewing, our requests were repeatedly ignored or dismissed with unhelpful excuses. Overall, the communication was poor, and their handling of clients felt unprofessional , dismissive and misleading.

My friend and I viewed a flat, applied for tenancy and managed to sign our tenancy agreement all within 1 week, which included a bank holiday weekend! The efficiency! With the assistance of Yash, the whole process was quick and smooth sailing. Whilst we found the background checks with a third party were quite intrusive, this did not reflect poorly on the agents as they were very helpful. Simran who showed us around the flat was also very cooperative in answering all my questions. Thank you all. :)

March 2022: Such a fabulous team and they are so professional in the work they do. In my case I moved to Leicester newly from India and the team made relocation to my new home in Leicester effortless. They were happy to help me even before I arrived and arranged virtual viewing and they are on time to what they commit. Team was even able to move my rental start date a day earlier with in a short notice..!! "First 4 Lettings" team is always happy to help and I did troubled them with lot of questions and they helped without a hesitation. Their on-time reply to emails and phone calls does need to be mentioned. Had most of interactions with Emily off late and she is so kind & supportive. She is really very good in tracking any complaints or help requested with respect to the property, rental, etc.., Keep up the good work team 😃👌 so happy that I found "First 4 Lettings" for my rental requirements 😃 Update on Feb 2023: Had renewal for the property and 'Sharon' from First4Lettings was so helpful to get it completed on time without any issues that too over email communication. I have requested for 6 months renewal instead of 12 months and she managed to get it done after discussions with landlord. Also to mention about the maintenance requests, Sharon is on track of requests and owns them until closure and she is so professional and dedicated. Excellent team and service..!!!

Disgraceful Company

Very bad experience. My daughter and two friends rented a property. It was in a shameful condition. It was too late to change by the time I saw it. General disrepair, mould on the walls, dirty throughout, hadn't been decorated in a long time. They are now trying to extort money out of us from the deposit with a lst of lies. Stay clear of this company!!!

Unfortunately you can't rate lower than a 1 star as I would. My son and his friends moved into his second year Uni house accommodation 2 weeks ago. On arrival we were absolutely disgusted with the cleanliness of the house. Myself and one of the other mums spent hours cleaning the kitchen and one of the bathrooms which were covered in grease and grime. The other bathroom we were not willing to even touch as it was horrendous. The property had been empty for at least 8 weeks and should have been clean. In the kitchen there was food remnants in the cupboards, leaking sink, dirty cupboards, thick grease on the worktops, missing appliances. There were numerous safety issues faulty smoke alarm, windows locked and no key to unlock them, the front door main entrance didn't comply with fire regulations and many more things. The Wi-Fi was included in their bills but was not set up. A new router was required and then when looking at the outside of the property the wires had been disconnected/cut leaving them without Wi-Fi for over a week. They have had to purchase many items themselves that should have been provided due to the state of the property. They have constantly been in contact about all the issues but everything is taking so long to get sorted. Then to top it off we had a phone call to say water was flooding into the bathroom through the extractor fan and then there was a flood in the utility room with water coming in through the ceiling that has been reported as leaking 2 weeks ago. The electrics have water running over them and are dangerous. I could not mention all the problems as it would take far too long. A very disappointed parent. This is a stressful time for parents when your young adult goes to Uni but having all these issues makes it so much worse. You trust these companies to make sure the properties are safe and they don't keep to the agreement. We have also been informed that many of the reviews are by the landlords not the tenants how true this is we don't know. A few of the videos and photos have been attached.

Zoe Reay has been excellent. I’ve had my property managed by F4L for a few years now and they have been very good. Recently the property neighbouring our property were getting their roof done and this caused a leak inside our property. Zoe has managed the situation excellently and arranged repairs and inspections and retrieved costs from the neighbour. I would highly recommend F4L and Zoe.

recently lost full functionality of my washing machine [Henco] was thoroughly immersed with the need to help and replace. I was impressed by the exquisite impeccable service he provided .
