Disgusting customer care

Disgusting customer care! We paid to reserve a plot and sent in the completed signed form and from there completely nothing happened (the form was not processed, however we knew nothing about this after multiple phone calls and going into the office) we was waiting nearly two weeks to eventually get to the bottom of it and be told the house had now been purchased by a company! Misinformation, lack of communication we are absolutely appalled by the service we have received and now completely have no trust in the company anymore!

Kudos Estate

Kudos Estate One star is generous. Been in the property four years, water meter still hasn't been installed meaning we were overchargedUpgraded lawn and have had to replace. Drainage not up to specification so the property is prone to flooding and maintenance of site and communal areas is inadequate and borderline illegal. Do not buy from these cowboys

Great service and showhomes.

Visited several sites now and spoke to the staff who have always been very helpful. The show homes were of an excellent standard and very well presented. After consideration we wanted to put down a primary reservation and the customer experience manager Deborah couldn't have been more helpful. Taking us through the process to secure the plot we wanted. Overall a great experience so far.

We moved in to our new home in December. I decided to wait a few months before I wrote a review to see how things panned out.Overall the home was brilliant from day one, that's not to say it was perfect, but I'll come on to that.All the rooms had been done out to the spec we had requested, and from day one it just felt lovely to finally be in it.I did find a list of 16 snags in the first few days, but these were all minor things like "wobbly paving slab", and "scuff mark on wall".The biggest single issue I had was the washing machine not draining, but I quickly fixed that myself when I discovered that the engineer who had installed it had left the cap on the drainage hose.The people on site I had the most contact with was the sales team (Kathryn and Debbie), and the project managers (Dave and Rob). All lovely people who whenever I saw them in passing would stop and check how things were. Dave even popped round a few times when he saw my car on the drive to check if we'd found any more snags, and to see how we were doing.I'm sure I will find many more little snags as the house ages, especially these first two years. But that's what I am expecting to happen with a new build.Did they build me a perfect home... no. But nothing in life ever is perfect.What they've built me is a house I am thrilled to be in, that I love coming home to, and that all my friends and family are genuinely impressed by.I'll be a little sad to see the Strata Team all go in a few years time when the sites complete.

Amazing Strata Belong Site

We reserved our home in June 2019 and moved in November 2019. We have waited a while to do this review to see the full service. Everything for us has been great from reserving our home with Esna at Belong through to moving in. Snags have been dealt with quickly and professionally. Even when we’ve noticed snags now they are still being addressed well with the customer care team. The site team have been super accommodating in helping with snags and working around us with work.We love our home and the quality compared to some other new builds, there has been attention to detail and we are so happy. It is clear to me strata stand apart from some other new build companies and this is clear when you visit the stunning show homes. The after care has been just as good as pre sale which means a lot, we would certainly recommended and if we ever decide to move from our beautiful home would certainly look for another strata home.

Elegance by Strata Ackworth....

Elegance ackworth..... estate entrance road not finished with surface course, our planned green area and path ways not finished with turf and surface course. The communication between strata and local council to the residents on reasons why things are incomplete and time scales is ridiculous. As residents we are guessing to what is going on.

You should know what you are getting…

You should know what you are getting into. Would I buy from them again? I would if it was the right house and I had a professional 'snagger' to take away some of the stress.Very disappointing experience with Strata. We have had some serious issues with the house and over 100 cosmetic problems. Customer care were helpful until this week, but now seem to work extremely hard to not resolve issues which is disappointing when we don't complaint about things we can / have fixed ourselves.Some of the work completed has been to such a low standard that Strata's own employees have been shocked and taken photos to share with other tradesmen. I feel our home was rushed to be completed in order to meet end of year sales targets.2 radiators leaks (missing washer in one and another over tightened)£2000 upgraded kitched... wrong cupboards fitted then denied until we showed the receipt then told they don't make that anymore but we saw it on another site a few weeks after! Took 2 months to fix and a door has a scratch on it even nowA significant toilet leak caused by a fist full of silicone where there should have been a gasket and no siliconeCreaky, cracking, moving and groaning floors which Strata have had 4 attempts to resolve with no luck so far and is getting worseRidge tiles not fixed correctly causing them to be blown off the house in 47mph winds4 (extra large) sacks full of rubbish extracted from one wall during one attempt at fixing the floor cracking soundsShower drain blocked full of rubbish (nails, cable, sealant, plaster and other debri)Missing caulk on all doorsLight switches not connectedMissing cement in between bricksMissing insulation in wallsBoiler room not finished (no plaster, paint, skirting boards not attached etc.)Verbally told us we could complete in the new year when we reserved the property, then they told the solicitor absolutely not and that it had never been agreed or happened and must complete before Christmas or lose the property and deposit!

A wonderful experience at Strate 360 Chesterfield

It’s moving in day For us at Strate 360 in Chesterfield. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone that we have engaged with has been so helpful, professional and a real pleasure to work with. Charlotte at the site has been a real help for us through the whole journey, always so informative and caring.I would also say that one of our best decisions has been to use the whole team around legals and financial services. I would fully recommend them. It has made the process so much easier to deal with everything.Now we are on site the construction team have also been so good at getting us into our new home.They say moving house is a very stressful experience. With this group of Strata professionals and related services it has been a fantastic experience from start to finish.Thank you all so much.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Strata 360 estate in Chesterfield this weekend and was highly impressed, not only by the standard of the properties, but mostly by the service I received from the lady in the sales office (Charlotte I believe was her name). She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and having visited three other new build estates in the area, I can say without a doubt the best in the area at her role.I look forward to visiting again in March when my plot of interest is released.

I’ve just become an owner of my dream…

I’ve just become an owner of my dream house. The whole process went smooth and Strata team made it even more excited for me by creating VIP lounge with updates on the progress. Few days before completion we occurred some issues with our buyer and if not for Strata team we would not move in before Christmas (if ever?). The team was absolutely incredible and worked really hard to resolve everything for me, putting pressure on solicitors etc. The communication was spot on! Special thanks to our lovely Melisa for being amazing all the way through, as well as Melanie and Chelsea in head office. And off course the house is perfect! I will be recommending Strata to everyone that thinks about buying new build.

5 star service, highly recommend

I’ve left it a few weeks after completion so I can give a more rounded review of my experience with strata. I can honestly say they are the most efficient and knowledgeable company I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From first view Of the property to moving in the whole process took less than 6 weeks. I part exed my property with them, Used there recommended solicitors and mortgage advisors. The different departments worked flawlessly together to ensure a smooth transaction . After moving in we’ve had a couple of minor issues which the on site builders have taken care of quickly. They’ve even sent the painters in after all the work to freshen up the house. We’re now happily settled into our beautiful new home at the epitome site in Wakefield. If your thinking moving I can whole heartedly recommend them 👍👍👌

Avoid this builder at all costs

I could not advise you to steer clear of Strata Homes more! We're coming up to our 4th anniversary in our home and I don't have anything positive to say about it at all. The build quality and finishes are horrible. Issues that were raised with the builder at the time of moving in we're never fixed and so we still are living with then today. Plus, because of the low quality products that were used, the house is looking shabby less than 4 years after moving in. Whenever we go to improve anything, we're greeted with more nasty surprises because everything was done half-cocked and too quickly. Do not waste your money on a Strata home. It's the worst decision my partner and I have ever made.

Out of the blue, great service

I took my disabled father and his partner to the showroom to view a house, it was an impromptu visit and yet we were fully accommodated. Kira, the representative, took her time and showed us around a house, explaining and aiding us. Even taking the time to describe verbally what could not be seen by the visually impaired lady I care for. Excellent service and the advise received was invaluable.

Proud to belong

Had such an excellent experience from start to finish with our lovely Esna at strata belong. We also had the pleasure of working with Charlotte at 360 during our process too. We cannot thank thank them enough for all the amazing help we have received during our buying process. Finally after what feels like forever, we made it in our new home and what an amazing home it is! Thanks to bob too and some work men on site who also popped in to make themselves known. Living on an unfinished estate

Living on an unfinished estate, Strata have vanished. Have had 3 slow punctures since moving onto the Strata Elegance estate. The main road throughout the estate is unfinished and potholes are further appearing, an unfinished community centre and a green that’s weeds as they didn’t seed. No updates, when will it end? Who knows!

Terrible communication 👎🏻

We moved in our home in June 2019 and have had issues with radiators which they attempted to fix but still don't work. When you call their office everyone just seems to pass the buck because there is never anyone available to deal with your issue. Currently we have a hole on our landing outside my daughters bedroom because thats where they ripped the carpet to fix the unworking radiators...and several attempts to get someone to speak to us to resolve the issue has been unfruitful. No emai , no letter , no phone call just nothing ... this is totally unacceptable. On top of everything they neec to fix the ceiling which they drilled and looks ghastly but we’ve had no correspondence from them . No i dont know if we can possibly seek legal advice and if so how do we go about it? Please help. We are very unhappy and unsafe in our Home.

I moved onto the Ambition 2 site in Seacroft in June and have had an excellent experience during both the building and aftercare period. Given I am a first time buyer both the teams in the Sales office as well as the on-site team Craig and Simon have been more than accomodating from day 1 and have taken a lot of the stress of the initial move away.Would definitley reccomend to anyone looking to buy a house especially any 1st time buyers!
