Good Quality and Aftercare

I have been really happy with the quality of the build, no major issues at all. The house has been stood for a long time and there are no structural concerns at all.Where I think Strata have stood out is in the aftercare support they have offered, in particular Craig on the construction side of things. He has always been available to offer support and anything I've raised has been dealt with promptly.I would certainly recommend Strata.

Hannah is the best

Ms. Hannah Granton is the best site manager that i have dealt soo far. She is very fast, polite, proactive and communicative thus making her the best. She is an asset to STRATA and I wish her best. If Strata incorporates these traits that Hannah shares across teams - Strata would be the best in customer experience and customer journey.

An ACTUAL five star developer…

We fell in love with Strata as soon as we entered the beautiful show homes at Desire, Leeds - we knew it was the one. The entire process from start to finish felt bespoke and personal. The houses are stunning but the service is also incredible. Betty - our experience manager is a huge asset to the team. She is a ray of sunshine and genuinely excited for her clients in entering their next chapter… Hayley in the legal team was also great to work with. Friendly, efficient and organised. My kind of girl!! Thank you everyone for making this happen. I highly recommend Strata homes.

Rubbish Strata new build homes

We have had numerous issues with our new build in MicklefieldIt started from day one.We had to pay £500 for an independent report which highlighted over 300 faults.A team of 3 men spent 3 days correcting these errors Some of the faults were dangerousOur extractor fan wasn’t even correctly vented A large trickle vent fell off an upstairs window.Our fence did not comply with planning permission application so a contractor returned and boarded the fence, again incorrectly, and left nails poking through the fence.Then the worst of all , a large leak from our upstairs bathroom.Our daughter rang us and was hysterical as water was pouring through our light fittings.We have posted a video on Facebook and Instagram for those wanting to see it.It was horrendous.My partner has claimed on her home insurance for the first time in 30 years.And the house is only 3 years old.Strata don’t tell you the warranty they offer only covers plumbing for 2 years and our windows for a year.We only asked them to reimburse our excess and they refused in their quickest ever reply to us.Once you have bought your house they aren’t interested.But it isn’t just your house it is your home.Don’t buy a Strata house is my advice.It will be months before we can get back to normal.Our estate was called Lavish - well it doesn’t feel that way.

Had a few snag issues to work through at Verve. Jeff has been fantastic sorting out the snags. He does an excellent job and is lovely to talk to. Really decent quality work and talked me through how the snags happened and what he was doing to fix them, which I personally found really helpful!

Only at the beginning of the process but went to the east Yorkshire Beverley site on Friday 13th and today to the hull Kingswood attraction site. Beth was Uber friendly, approachable, quick to answer questions and be honest about options. We have reserved a plot and even nipped back later to show a family member and it was no trouble. Impressed so far.

After a frustrating and disputing time, we finally had our freezer replaced.Jeff and Malc attended to replace our old freezer with a new one.Both Jeff and Malc went above and beyond to rectify the issue, doing more than just removing and replacing.They listened to our concerns and adapted the installation to help avoid further issues.Can’t thank them both enough.Also, aftercare team for listening to my constant moans and groans.

Aftercare is SHOCKING

I just deleted the intial review I left when I moved into my Strata house on the Leeds Kudos site as the customer after care for the snags and problems with the house takes months to fix. Both the extractor fans in the bathroom didn't seem to be working properly as there was mold gathering on the ceiling. Turns out neither of them have been connected properly.Every time you have an issue to raise it takes months to actually get it resolved. I raised a very simple issue about the front door seals.....4 months ago......still not be sorted or even acknowledged they are working on it! Really disappointing when this is NOT what you are sold when buying the house

Bought a house during covid and material shortages yet we still got all the extra bits we wanted. Esna was very helpful and helped us with everything. We have had friends buy houses with other providers and have snagging lists of 20+ in the first week, my dads a building site manager for another firm and struggled to find anything at all! Would recommend to anyone.
