James and Justin went far and above what I expected from any estate agents. They were courteous and professional, whilst being friendly and easy to talk to. They were instrumental in helping us manage the stress involved in selling our house and buying a new one. When we ran into difficulties in getting a move date agreed with the rest of our chain, it became apparent that other parties' estate agents and solicitors seemed to be less than competent. To make matters worse, the people we were buying from saw fit to direct their frustration at us when the delay was being caused by the professionals they were using. Justin at Cornerstone took it upon himself to act as a shield and go between for us and our vendors, thereby reducing the aggravation and stress we were receiving. This was greatly appreciated, especially with my partner being 30 weeks pregnant at the time and we were worried about how the stress would affect the baby. Having dealt with a number of other estate agents in the past, and liaising with others during this sale. I would strongly suggest other estate agents to take more than a leaf or two out of Cornerstone's book.

Cornerstones were outstanding from start to finish. I met James for a valuation and decided to go with Cornerstones being drawn to his personality and attitude. They quickly got me offers and got the negotiations over the line quickly. Then from offer to completion I received phone calls and updates from Justin often and he was brilliant. He almost acted as a middle man which sped things up rather than going through solicitors. They really were on it and I would rate them higher than 5* if I could!

I have just completed a house purchase through Cornerstones Estate agents. Justin and all the team were absolutely fantastic to work with. Every query was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I unfortunately had choose to sell my home through an online estate agents, this is a decision I came to regret hugely as they did nothing to help the sale progress. After working with Cornerstones I wish I had sold through them as the whole process would have been so much smoother. Justin went above and beyond to ensure a smooth a process as possible. I cannot recommend James and Justin at Cornerstone Estate Agents highly enough. I had been having lots of trouble selling my house for a few months and was getting highly frustrated. I was referred to Cornerstone and I am so glad I was. James took loads of photos and presented my house as I wanted it and guess what Justin sold it within the first week at the price I wanted. To say I was over the moon is an under statement. Their professionalism and attention to detail was first class. They kept me informed all the way. From a Landlord's perspective: James helped through the initial stages of setting the house on the market, did a great job of photography and marketing, who also didn't feel as 'sales-y' or pushy as the other agencies. Cornerstones fully manages the property and we've had back to back (long-term) tenants. Our tenants seem to be happy and Zoe is always very efficient and proactive with communication between myself, tenants and the occasional workman. I feel comfortable and confident in their management of the property. Would recommend their services to anyone.

Zoe, James and the team are all very professional, punctual and thorough in their work and commitment to their clients. They found the tenants for my property and have been managing my property for a couple of years, and throughout the years I have not had any issues with them or the way they work. They communicate things to me very promptly and also deal with things in a prompt manner whilst insuring to keep costs low for me. Having rented through a number of different estate agents in Leeds, my experience with Cornerstone was by far the best. The team are extremely friendly, very prompt at responding to questions and issues and go above and beyond to help. Despite having moved to a different estate agent more than 6 months ago (not through choice, would have very happily stayed with Cornerstone for the foreseeable future!), they even helped me recently locate a parcel I'd mistakenly sent to an old address. Great service from Cornerstones and in paticular James for taking alot of the stress and hassle away from both the selling and moving process. Although not the normal '2 up 2 down' James's positivity and willingness for the challange shone through with emmediate interest followed by numerous offers. The updates came regularly and all out of hours calls were never an issue for James. A sale seemed never in doubt and this materialised shortly afterwards. Compared to previous experiences i've had I would deffinately say James goes above and beyond his role and I would and have recommended Boith James and Conerstones to friends.

I truly do not think it is possible to rate Cornerstone highly enough. In selling a flat, you want two things from your estate agent: a good price and a good experience. Cornerstone gave both, exceptionally well - I truly cannot fault them on either count. Let me start with price, which is ultimately most important. When James initially told me what price he was aiming for, I literally laughed - then thought "he's obviously having me on". How wrong I was. James got me another £3,000 higher than that number that seemed so outlandish to me. If you'd told me beforehand that the house could raise that price then I'd never have believed you. That wasn't just down to Cornerstone's highly effective and committed marketing but the very wise, sensible and knowledgable advice that he gave me on how to make the property as attractive to purchasers as possible. I have no doubt that I would have got about 20% less had I gone with a competitor, even one apparently better established in the area. The other thing that I must mention is how consistently positive everything about the experience was. Cornerstone never put a foot wrong. There was none of the hassle that people have come to expect from the selling process. They were all over everything. They were completely honest and straightforward with me at all times. They were seamlessly efficient, positive, friendly, helpful, proactive and competent. I really cannot fault them in any regard whatsoever. James as team leader and my primary contact was the person I saw most of. He really is exceptional within the industry. But I also have the same high opinion of everyone else on the team, particularly Justin, Louise and Zoe who were all clever, competent and helpful. I really cannot imagine that you will ever regret the decision to use Cornerstone as your agency. I know I will not.

When we decided to sell out house we in effect interviewed a number of estate agents and immediately felt at home and comfortable with James when he came around. He was extremely personable and came across in a very professional manner - we immediately clicked with him as a person and decided that Cornerstone would be the right fit for us even though not in our immediate area. James took the photographs himself and they were excellent and really accentuated our home in its best possible light. The final brochure for clients to look at looked great. This really did hook people in to our property also. We had numerous viewings and eventually we got the asking price for our house and the sale went through smoothly. James and Zoe kept in contact with use throughout the sales cycle and offered guidance and support throughout. My wife and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I would definitely look to use again should we be in a position where we need to sell our property again. Thanks again guys - a job well done.

Well... what can i say that already hasn't been said in the reviews below. Myself and my partner was buying a home from cornerstones. The team and James in particular kept us updated all the time and helped us understand what the next steps were as we are first time buyers. We felt cornerstones were more beneficial to us than our mortgage adviser! Although Cornerstones were selling the property they still had our best interest at hearts and worked quickly to get things resolved. James worked exceptionally well, friendly and worked evenings and weekends to make sure everything was going ok. We are now in our home due to those reasons. I don't usually do reviews but felt the need to following our experience of moving house, as I can't praise Cornerstones enough, in particular James. He was incredibly proactive, professional and had our best interests at heart. I really do think the sale could have fallen through had it not been for James working 110 % to make sure we got the house by the date we needed it by. He remained positive and supportive throughout and went above and beyond what most estate agents would. If you're selling or buying, then I really can't recommend Cornerstones highly enough.

Oliver and the rest of the team at Cornerstone Sales and Lettings are literally like family at this time. Oliver’s kindness and warmth as well as advice helped me in securing my first rental house two years ago and has helped me once more even though he didn’t know me as I was a walk in client. I would highly recommend James and the team at Cornerstone to anyone looking to buy or sell a house in Yorkshire. From my first interaction with James I felt he was someone with a passion for his job. He gave great advice on the market and also the best way to present the property in order to get the best results. I was kept informed all the way through the process as to what was happening. There were a few ups and downs but they were dealt with professionally and in an efficient way. An overall process of four months to get the house renovated and sold is a great result. I would highly recommend Cornerstone estate agents! James knows how to make the best out of your property and takes amazing pics which helps to attract potential buyers. I also dealt with Justin who is the most polite person I have ever spoken too and he was the one who secured the sale on our property. When the property was then under offer Zoe takes charge of the after care and ensures everyone is kept informed of and keeps both the customer and buyer happy.
