If people are leaving a positive review they clearly haven’t used Tara and Co and are mistaking it for a competent letting agency. Not a single thing worked effectively in the year we had them. Lost a key? They gave you a random key. Need 4 rooms for a house? Best we can do is 3 1/2. You need to contact us? Hahahaha good luck. In terms of utilities only the wifi and electricity didn’t work properly so pretty good considering. Shoutout for coming to our house the only day we couldn’t do because we had exams. Yeah this agency is probably the place I’d recommend least.

Absolutely awful. I’ve never experienced a more unprofessional and incompetent company. Trying to get a change in contract for a student lease has taken over two months of calling and emailing only to be told upwards of 6 times that I will receive an email back or even a call from a manager that same day and get absolutely nothing. When you call and no one is available they just hang up on you with no option to leave a voicemail. I have been lied to about not having to pay a fee for my contract change. I would never go near Tara and Co. or student homes ever again and strongly recommend everyone else stays away as well.

Absolutely useless staff. If you have any negotiation or problem with your landlord you're probably better off doing it yourself since they manage to take 2 months to get a reply from him, even after multiple calls from me. Add to that the fact they make multiple mistakes concerning the information they need and you basically have a company that gives you more work to do than if you'd do everything yourself.

My girlfriend used this agency. They are money grabbers and exploit young and impressionable students. She paid close to £100 in admin fees yearly for two years only for the estate agency to ignore her emails and concerns about the property. They should be ashamed of themselves - dismissing serious enquiries and complaints. David the manger is incompetent and on a power high.

absolutely useless. i cannot belive how incompetent this agency is. they seem to have a policy of no contact when tenants want an anwser to something. i have never had a reply or a call back even after leaving messages and calling about 7 times. i was a tenant at one of their properties for a year and just felt constantly scammed.. i would never ever recommend them to anyone.

Worst company in the world. Signing a contract with Tara and Co is like signing a contract with the Devil himself. Every time we send them rent they always email us around 2 weeks later claiming we have not paid rent with threatening emails. They never call to explain the problem, their only method of communication is with malicious emails begging for more money. Also had the gall to try make us pay 2 deposits?! Rubbish company, no communication, avoid them at all costs. Everyone working at this company should be ashamed of themselves and the sheer lack of competency. An absolutely terrible company, if I could rate it 0 stars I would. There are frankly too many issues to list about my experience with Tara and co (unresolved case of numerous slugs in kitchen that weren’t dealt with because they were having the kitchen done after we’d moved out, a £100+ fine for repairs that they never did and sending out incorrect information which cost me over £100 are just a few). The amount of mental, physical and economic stress choosing to use their services has given me should be criminal. They are unprofessional, terrible at replying, extremely unhelpful and will use any excuse to get money out of already hard off students. Please do not use them, I literally beg of you for your own sanity.

I have been very impressed with how Tara & Co over have helped me manage my student property over the last year and would absolutely recommend them. This review in particular is for Claudia who has made it so easy for me to make improvements to my property. She is really courteous and friendly. She has literally done everything for me - keeping me up to date as she progresses and seeking my endorsement every step of the way. She has sourced quotes and used her expertise about what will work in a student property to ensure it is looking really smart while also being mindful of costs.
