If you're a student, avoid Tara and co. They are slow and unresponsive to any issues you may have/ totally unwilling to help! The cleaning and maintenance services they think have provided for us have been beyond awful. We feel exploited as though they are trying to bleed us dry of our money.

Avoid at all costs. They completely ignore the rules of the deposit scheme they're signed up to - I'm two weeks past the time limit set out in the contract (EDIT: now FIVE weeks), and haven't heard a peep. Their utilities bill for August (the month before I moved in) went unpaid for four months, despite me notifying them five or six times that I was being threatened over it - and this was only resolved when I paid the bill by mistake, leaving me £70 out of pocket. The only saving grace is the handyman and gardener, who's a lovely bloke - but then the online maintenance report system goes completely ignored, so it's impossible to contact him when needed. Would wholeheartedly recommend any other landlord or letting agency over Tara & Co.

Unfortunately the landlord had to pull out of our contract (fine, these things happen) but we weren't told until THREE MONTHS LATER, at which point the majority of other student houses were taken. We were not compensated at all. Head elsewhere.

Outstanding Customer Service - Student Lettings I have many properties maintained regionally by letting agents. The service provided by Clare Sykes from Tara and Co has always been prompt, helpful and professional throughout. I have always felt my custom was unique and important to them. The prices quoted are competitive and the customer experience always satisfying. During a repair of a bathroom roof and a recent HMO inspection, various items had to be covered inc painting and electrical repairs. This was a complex piece of work. The Insurance Team Clare took full charge from the time the work was needed including visits by the HMO team and the remediation took weeks to progress. I was kept fully informed by Tara & Co of progress throughout. I cannot highly recommend Tara & Co more highly, they look after your property brilliantly. I'm a student, and i just have to commend the efforts of Claire and Chrissie who work at Tara and Co. I'm in the process of trying to move out of my property, and they've been informative and clear with the information they've provided for me. However, they are the only positives of the company i've seen. i feel like the company needs to work on their commnications with students, as whenever i had an issue wrong with my property, i would be ignored and i would have to call multiple times before the issue was fixed.
