Tara and Co are my lettings agents for the last few years for my student properties. They have always offered expert advice, let the properties almost immediately and pay promptly. Luke Timms Lettings Manager is super efficient and probably the best lettings manager I have ever come across. He deals with all student and landlord inquires so promptly and takes the stress out of organising any repairs as well a smakes end of year check outs run smoothly so that the property is ready again for the next student year. He handles everything so you can be completely hands off. I would thoroughly recommend them without question to anyone looking for a first class letting agent.

Tara and Co generally has a bad reputation with students in the Leamington area, however, one member of staff in particular has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and easily contactable. Thank you so much Luke for dealing with our housing issues (which are normally the fault of our AWFUL landlord, not the letting agent Tara and Co). Luke is always on hand to assist, is excellent with communication and far more helpful than any of the other Tara and Co staff I have dealt with.

Tara have managed my rental property for the last 4 years. We moved following a poor experience with another agent and researched various letting agents in the Leamington Spa area. We initially spoke with David French, who filled us with confidence which has been fully repaid. Any problems are efficiently and rapidly dealt with by Luke who immediately answers emails and keeps us fully updated. He is also proactive in suggesting any reparations that may be required which is so helpful as we are a distance away and are not always able to visit the property. Special shout out to David Quain who has been an absolute joy during a personally difficult year and sorted out any financial problems. We feel as though the property is in good hands and have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Tara and Co.

I'm not even sure where to start with Tara&Co - they're possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with. I suggest both tenants and landlords avoid them, and I personally will never rent or buy a property that they have had any involvement with. I rented a managed property in Leamington Spa for 11 months. Rent was paid in full and always on time and the property was left in a better condition than when I moved in at the end of the tenancy. Even before I moved in, they gave my details to Glide (an energy company) who then proceeded to harass me via SMS and Email against my wishes until I reported them to the Information Commissioner's Office. Things went downhill from this point. The property was poorly managed - insufficient waste and recycling facilities were provided for the 12+ tenants who lived at the address. The intercom system remained broken for much of the year. On one occasion a contractor was given access to my flat without any notice whatsoever for a non-emergency issue - David French readily admits this happened in an email. On another occasion they rang me and tried to convince me to give them flat access with a few hours notice - but soon backed down when I pointed out they had to legally give proper notice of at least 24 hours. When I moved out, I gave it a few weeks before I requested the deposit back in writing. I received no response within the 10 day period I was required to allow and was therefore £650 out of pocket. No reasoning was given for the failure to return the money - in fact they hadn't communicated at all since I moved out. I was forced to begin a dispute with my|deposits and provide evidence for a case. As soon as the deposit protection company got in touch with Tara&Co they backed down and paid me the amount in full. Tenants: they will try and take advantage of you. Insist on 24 hours notice for all property access. If they fail to return your deposit, don't put up with it. Don't waste time dealing with them directly beyond the initial request. Just dispute the failure through the protection company or take them to the small claims court. Landlords: they don't have a good reputation and you'll likely lose business from tenants who know to avoid them and look elsewhere. I've heard from colleagues who've had bad experiences renting out their properties with Tara&Co as landlords, too. There are plenty of other, reputable estate agents to consider in Leamington and Coventry.

Shocking customer service and communication. Moved into student rental property with completely broken boiler so no heating or hot water. Tara and Co were almost impossible to get hold of with no email replies and useless phone responses. I was directed to complaints/ maintenance forms that didn’t exist. Boiler is still broken 3 weeks later and no sign of a fix soon.

ReviewsSee All AMAZING SERVICE!!!! On new years day my house flooded due to the heavy rain over the Christmas period and Severn Trent's inability to fix a broken drain for over a year. My house was all but completely flooded, I called on New Years to day to a very concerned and positive response from Tara & Co. Within three hours I had emergency maintenance team out, who helped in removing the water and all of my carpets I was quickly found alternative accommodation and looked after through this whole process. Try your best to avoid

Stayed for a year and recommend trying your best to avoid. Very unresponsive once you paid the holding deposit, you had to call 2-3 times to get a call back(sometime no call back at all). The agreement has some terms very dodgy(for instance they can share our data without our consents) and they refused to make any changes because “they just don’t”. In the end of the tenancy they told us the landlord will have 21 working days to inspect the house before returning the deposit. I don’t think that sounds right and why they need that long to check the house. And they kept having different names(another red flag) such as studenthomes, make sure you have that checked

Absolutely superb!!! I highly recommend Tara and Co Services to anyone. I had been searching a property for while in Leamington and couldn't find a property that was right for me within my budget. Then I came across this property with Tara and Co and was greeted by a gentleman called Jack Mcdermott. The speed, easy process and excellent knowledge from Jack sealed the deal for me immediately as the first property he shown me was ideal. Even after our viewing Jack was exceptional in getting everything sorted whilst I was busy working midweek and the move was so effortless from my part. I am very pleased.
