GoogleI have two investment properties that have been managed by Martin and Co for a number of years. They have provided me with great service from day one. The properties are well managed, repairs are quicky attended to and competative quotes obtained. Amamdeep always replies promptly to my queries and keeps me informed. I have a number of investment properties and I wish all my agents were as professional and approachable as the entire team at this branch of Martin and Co.

He was always on hand throughout, providing sound advice and dealing with queries with speed and in his support through the conveyancing process. Even when the lawyers were being frustratingly slow, it was always reassuring knowing we could rely on Paul and Martin and Co.

GoogleThis is a really bad, ridiculous bad company!!They try to rip off every deposit as they can, charge you every single item, even though you clean the house very well. Don’t choose them!!!! Not only me many of my friends have suffered this. The worst company I have ever seen.
Hello thank you for your review. can you please email our manager henry.hammond@martinco.com we cannot locate your tenancy and have no record of you renting with us? For your information, we use a third party company to create a check out report. This report is created by using the original inventory and comparing this to the condition the property is left in. We then obtain quotes from third party contractors to deal with all cleaning and damage above fair wear and tear. We then take Landlord instructions on what to claim for and negotiate this with you. If we are unable to reach an agreement we recommend the case is moved to an independent dispute via the Deposit Protection Resolution Department, and they make a ruling. If you have had money deducted from your deposit it will be due to the fact that the property has not been left in the right condition. I am sorry if you feel this is unfair, however we follow legislation and strictly stick to the clauses in the tenancy agreement and the Deposit Protection Scheme guidelines. GoogleMartin & co, Leamington Spa, have been looking after my property for over 9 years, finding new tenants and looking after them in an efficient and helpful manner. In more recent years Aman has been particularly helpful in resolving any minor issues, that inevitably occur when you are a landlord, with brilliant effectiveness and great communication. I would recommend Martin & co if you have a property to let and you want a stress free, effective and reasonable service.

GoogleBad experience renting with Martin and Co from start to finish. I attempted to arrange viewings for various properties over several weeks. Often not receiving responses or being made promises of call backs which never happened. I felt we were missing out on properties because of this. This situation did improve when Henry stepped in to help. Similar story when we had issues during our tenancy, problems were never dealt with, with any intensity or any importance to them. Including having no running water for two days. Again led to me constantly chasing them for small things and being made to feel like an inconvenience. Ended up resolving it ourselves with the actual developer as I couldn’t wait for m&co. When our tenancy finally came to an end it was a similar situation of me constantly chasing for updates on deposit return. I appreciate this was not entirely Martin and CO’s fault but fault laid in fact with the landlord. When we finally received our report I was outraged at total deductions suggested. The landlord wanted to take 80% of our initial deposit for basic wear and tear. Whilst not Martin and CO’s fault I found it completely unacceptable the landlord would try to do this and would worry that if someone was struggling financially they could be taken advantage of as disputing deposits is a long drawn out process.

As he mentioned, we act on instructions from the Landlord with regards to deposit deductions and make no decisions on their behalf. As for your viewing, the building was not quite finished at the time you enquired, and we did our best to prioritise your viewing request and worked around the builders to get you access. I am pleased you were eventually able to view and ended up renting the property. We thank you for your time and for being a great tenant. Should you decide to rent again we'd be very happy to find you a property.

GoogleI can't recommend Henry Hammond from the Sales side of Martin & Co highly enough. He's been fantastic at providing advice and guidance and clearly knows his stuff. Henry has amply demonstrated his professionalism and desire to be fair and build long term relationships with his buyers. I had an excellent purchasing experience when we did close a deal on a property and when I'm next in the market to buy I will definitely reach out to Henry and aim to buy from him again.

GoogleWe had great experience interacting and working with Martin and Co. We moved to Leamington from Italy and wanted to rent a house before moving as my wife was expecting. Martin and Co obliged each and every request of ours, including online viewing, swift and easy contract signing, and handing over the keys on a weekend. We majorly interacted with Ms. Sereena Nunn and we had a great experience with her. She was always quick to respond, extremely understanding, and very accommodating. Any concerns were immediately addressed by her and the process was always smooth and stress-free. Sereena and Martin and Co are highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Leamington without any hassle :)

Response was unnessary and showed bad customer service for a company we'd heard so highly of. We were treated rudely and in a very unprofessional manner. However, colleague who directly dealt with us stayed calm and professional. The payment was not made as it was a mistake made by the company, but disappointed no apology was given. I have recently signed for a 6 month contract in a property in Leamington Spa, and due to pop in to collect keys on 30th July. Really not looking forward to bumping into the gent again. I will be dealing directly with the landlord in future.
