GoogleAs a tenant, I would not trust this company. They gladly took my rent 6 months up front to secure my rental. I never paid a month thereafter late. When is came to moving out, I was accused of damage that was already there and proved when moving in. I was also accused of cleanliness that was was clean and clear. On top of that, they did not follow the process of of the deposit protection process and attempted to bypass the correct process that is there to protect tenants. Martin and Co are there for their profit and as a future renter or buyer, I would never use them as an agent going forward due to their dishonesty, deceitfulness and lack of accountability.
Dear Megan, thank you for your review. I have made contact with you directly outlining our reply to this. ultimately as I have pointed out previously, your contract is between you and the Landlord. You both mutually agreed on a deduction due to the property not being returned in the right condition and the remaining deposit was paid to you. Martin and CO do not profit from deposit disputes or claims and we act on the instructions of the Landlord. We have also followed the Deposit Protection Schemes advise and guidance with regards to deposit returns and claims.

GoogleI first met Paul for a viewing of a property Martin & Co were marketing. Not only was it obvious that Paul was incredibly professional but there was absolutely no hard sell, and particularly no pressure to use their mortgage advisor. Negotiating the purchase through Paul was a breeze and it became obvious it was sensible and practical for us to sell our property with him. Paul worked with me tirelessly to get our property marketed to a really high standard. He even came back on another day to get the photos and walkthrough video perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. He also offered some very sensible advice based on his experience, which as it turned out was spot on. Paul got us good offers for our sale following four viewings on one Saturday - he had clearly worked hard to refine the prospective buyers. Sadly, the seller of the property we were purchasing pulled out so the purchase did not proceed. Paul was very supportive at that difficult time. Having found an alternative purchase, the sale of our property was really quite challenging and Paul put in countless hours to keep the transaction going. I could not have felt more supported and I am convinced it was through his tireless commitment that ultimately the sale of our property completed, and we are settled in our new home. Henry provided support in Paul's absence and he was also very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martin & Co.

GoogleWe were delighted with the service we received from Martin and Co they did all the viewings for us and got a sale subject to contract in less than 2 weeks. We had many problems along the way but Paul and Henry certainly went the extra mile to help get things sorted I think at times they were doing the solicitors job for them. GoogleI have two investment properties that have been managed by Martin and Co for a number of years. They have provided me with great service from day one. The properties are well managed, repairs are quicky attended to and competative quotes obtained. Amamdeep always replies promptly to my queries and keeps me informed. I have a number of investment properties and I wish all my agents were as professional and approachable as the entire team at this branch of Martin and Co.
