I just moved to the UK from abroad, and spent weeks looking for places to rent. I immediately noticed a difference with Connells, who booked a viewing the same day I called, and then responded quickly to any questions I had. I had a great experience with Connells Estate Agents, and ended up signing for an apartment that I found through them. In particular, Leanne Beverley was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to answer my questions. I definitey recommend working with Connels Estate Agents!

Personally wouldn’t recommend. Had a poor experience with Connells earlier this year when trying to purchase our first home. We ended up being gazumped just 4 hours after our offer was accepted on a house and we felt as if Connells didn’t do enough to try and stop that (I’m aware it’s not illegal but it’s not a great look for vendor or Estate Agent to be honest). After we decided to pull out of the deal, they still had the audacity to call every week for the next 6 months asking if we wanted to use them. No thanks. Had much better experiences since with other local estate agents which have acted in a very fair and more professional manner with regards to offering their services and offers for properties.

I'd absolutely recommend Connells as an estate agents, but I would not recommend their in-house solicitors that they suggest on commission. (Hence the 4 stars.) However! Some super lovely and helpful people are Honor, Julie, Lucy and Sera. When I rang and Julie answered, I immediately felt looked after, she's honestly so great. Honor supported however she could and helped push communication with a lot of different avenues, she's very dependable! Thanks to the team for all their help.

Their advice and recommendations are valuable, their contacts very useful and their service commendable. One of the staff (Irine Field) even contacted me on a Sunday to help resolve an issue - very impressive.

Not happy at all with the service provided by Connells charged me search fees even though I clearly asked would I get it back if for any reason the mortgage did not go through which is exactly what happened and now refusing to refund any money back quick to take the money when needed but won’t return anything back even though property fell through.

If you are first time buyer avoid at all costs. They will use your lack of understanding rules to sell you as many products they can instead of explaining how everything works and guide your through process. You can forget about anyone answering the phone from you after you pay. If i use them again only because their lifetime fee is huge and would be a waste

Extremely poor service. We contacted Connells to view a house in Wellesbourne. We were given a time for the next day to go and view it. We were called on the day of the viewing to let us know that the house had been let, which seemed fair as our viewing was late in the day (probably after others had viewed it). They then called us a few days later saying that the house hadn’t actually been let and that we could view it the next day (today). They called us this morning to confirm the time of our viewing, which was meant to be at 3pm. We have just had a call from them to say that it now has been let (less than an hour before we are meant to see the property). When they called us back the first time we made sure to check that we were going to be the first viewing to avoid being dissatisfied again. We had changed our plans to view the property and had even spoken to them in the morning about it. We feel that we have been used as leverage for the other interested party in order to pressure them to rent the house. If we can avoid using this letting agents we will as this is extremely bad practice.

Connells has been absolutely fantastic throughout us starting our tenancy in one of their properties. From getting us a viewing as quickly as possible to sorting out everything as soon as we enquire. Lily from property management has been excellent at checking in and organising any maintenance that needed doing. Beccy has also been fantastic at getting back to us so promptly and communicating between us and our landlords. We have had an excellent experience with Connells so far and hope to continue our experience for a long time.

A year after I sold and bought a house (through other agents) Connells will not stop phoning me, despite me telling them not to. They will aggressively try to sell unwanted financial services. Edit: two months later, even after the reply below, they have called me twice more, asking if they can help me buy or sell a house. This is harassment and a breach of GDPR and I will be escalating this to the ICO.
