We're so glad we picked JDG to sell our home. The quality of the marketing (photos, brochure, listing) is well above any of the other agents in the area and we achieved multiple offers at asking price or above within a less than a week of our house being on the market. The entire team were brilliant but Louisa deserves a special mention, she answered my many e-mails promptly and was great at getting info from the solicitors when we were struggling to get a response. She really put my mind at ease throughout the process. It is also worth mentioning that the team took COVID safety extremely seriously, from PPE to ensuring that only serious buyers in a position to make an offer would be allowed to come into our home for a viewing. Team JDG are amazing! This business is completely in-tune with the Lancaster property market and buyers and sellers requirements. They previously helped sell other properties in our street, so we knew they also had a proven track record locally in connection with our type of house. So much so that when we participated in a COVID-safe initial consultation and virtual valuation tour with Michelle, it quickly became apparent that there were buyers waiting. One viewing, pre-release onto the market, brought an immediate and acceptable offer which progressed through to successful completion. We couldn’t ask for any more than that, but JDG were also able to assist in a professional, courteous and efficient way when important information needed to be conveyed or sought during the transaction. There have been some hiccups. One with a view where the JDG professional was not very well informed and didn't answer our posterior emails, and another with an excessive pressure for us to find a solicitor (we literally got a "pressure" call having had just 2 hours to find a solicitor). But, we should highlight the professionalism of Louisa and Fiona who were amazing! We are tempted to give a 5 just because of them, but I need to evaluate the entire team performance, which overall was very good, but would need some fine tuning to avoid the issues described above.

I have used JDG to both rent out a house and sell one. Staff have always been friendly and approachable with an attitude that nothing is too much trouble. I have had good advice when needed, they have provided experienced and competent plumbers, painters and cleaners to help me when I need to get the house ready for sale and they helped me with setting the right price to help sell my property. They would definitely be my "go to" estate agents and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

JDG are an absolutely stunning estate agency with a tremendous online presence. Their houses are always priced at the premium end of the market and they each know their favourite rooms - Michelle, for example, loves the kitchen - what she doesn’t know about baking isn’t worthwhile. I’ll definitely use JDG to sell my house shortly - it contains its very own curling rink and I just know JDG will price this well. Keep up the great work, guys and continue with the YouTube videos - all done in one take to boots (but not with Boots, who is adorable!)

As a tenant renting a lovely property through JDG I cannot recommend JDG highly enough. The lettings team are friendly and helpful. Communication is excellent, for example when it is time for my property inspections I am notified by different methods to ensure I receive the information and on the one occasion I needed to report an issue, an electrician was dispatched the same day solving the problem immediately and I was kept up to date from the moment I logged the fault.
