Very disappointing experience with Your…

Very disappointing experience with Your Move Darwen. Unfortunately, I would not recommend their services. From the initial onboarding, there was a lack of transparency regarding fees. At no point was it clearly explained to us that exiting the management agreement would cost one month's rent plus VAT, which came as a very unpleasant surprise. Communication throughout was poor. We constantly had to chase emails for updates, and whenever we tried calling the office, there rarely seemed to be anyone available to help. Even after terminating our agreement and settling all outstanding fees, their credit control department continued contacting our tenant requesting rental payments, despite us now managing the property directly and the tenant having already paid us. This highlights a clear lack of communication between their internal departments. Overall, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. For the fees charged, I would expect far better communication, transparency and professionalism. Unfortunately, I would not use Your Move Darwen again or recommend them to other landlords.

I had contacted them about renting a house. Two days before moving in, they rejected my application based on a misrepresentation of a material fact. They wanted to retain my holding deposit, but they returned it after I threatened to sue them. They are a waste of time and poor services too.

DO NOT USE THE BROMSGROVE BRANCH Initially everything was ok, sales pitch as to be expected, expensive compared to other estate agents. Everything then went quiet until my buyers started pushing for move. I felt they were acting on their behalf rather than mine, after all I was paying the bill. They push you to use their conveyancing services, Convey Law, this was my mistake along with others I have now found out. The promise you a competitive quote but this soon becomes loaded with extras that you don't agree to. If I ever move again I will go elsewhere.

Buyer beware! We had a negative experience with YourMove Broadstairs, after a drawn out 6 month process to purchase a property on Beacon Road the vendors pulled out on the day of exchange- we later found out this wasn't the first time they had cancelled a sale at the last minute.
