Very disappointing experience with Your Move Darwen. We paid £200 + VAT a month for property management, yet constantly had to chase for updates, inspections and basic communication. Work was carried out on our property without our permission, which we only discovered through a neighbour's video. Despite raising this in December 2025 and chasing repeatedly, we received no proper response for 9 months. To make matters worse, we were then faced with a £1300+ termination fee that hadn't been explained when signing up. The service went rapidly downhill, and I wouldn't recommend trusting them to manage your property, especially if you're living abroad.

Very disappointing experience with Your Move Darwen. Unfortunately, I would not recommend their services. From the initial onboarding, there was a lack of transparency regarding fees. At no point was it clearly explained to us that exiting the management agreement would cost one month's rent plus VAT, which came as a very unpleasant surprise. Communication throughout was poor. We constantly had to chase emails for updates, and whenever we tried calling the office, there rarely seemed to be anyone available to help. Even after terminating our agreement and settling all outstanding fees, their credit control department continued contacting our tenant requesting rental payments, despite us now managing the property directly and the tenant having already paid us. This highlights a clear lack of communication between their internal departments. Overall, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. For the fees charged, I would expect far better communication, transparency and professionalism. Unfortunately, I would not use Your Move Darwen again or recommend them to other landlords.

I just want to say a big thank you to Peter at Your Move for all his help with selling my property. From the beginning, Peter was really helpful, approachable and supportive throughout the whole process. Selling a property can be quite stressful, but having someone like Peter who was on top of things and genuinely wanted to help made the whole experience so much easier for me. Which we were very pleased with ! All staff very professional and very helpful! I would definitely recommend the company to sell a property second to none service ! Well done your move exceptional service!!! and l would certainly like to thank firstly Rich for the professionalism with the initial photos taken and the excellent service marketing our property !! My experience so far with Yourmove has been a good one, it is refreshing to know that there are still estate agents out there that help you every step of the way, that's how I have felt being a single person, not knowing what to do and when, being walked through the process every step of the way, nothing seems to be too much, even out of hours. Very much appreciated, having had experience with other agents none of them seem a patch on Yourmove. Obviously the process is a stressful one, but I feel lucky I chose these.
