Yesterday we had few viewings in Newbury, first couple of viewings was with Ellie, very nice person, very helpful answering on our every question and super friendly, later that day we had few more viewings with Jeremy as well super friendly and helpful person, both of them helped us to have more knowledge as me and my partner are new in buying house, highly recommend.

Called to enquire about a property in Newbury. The agent I spoke to , Alex, needs real training in how to sell. Told me he didn't want to waste my time showing me a property given it was 5k over my budget. He was patronising and smug. I actually could have superseded the offer already on the property but given his arrogant attitude, his absolute certainty in himself that he was correct and didn't want to employ basic politeness, I asked myself - "why bother?".

Having accepted a cash offer for our flat in Liverpool because we are relocating and not being in a chain we were confident to make an offer for one being marketed by Jones Robinson in Newbury. Transfer progress was regularly and well monitored by Paula Rudge but unfortunately the ‘system’ allows unscrupulous, and even dishonest, behaviour because there is no commitment until exchange of contracts, which resulted in the sale of our flat sadly having to be aborted after 6 months. Paula was most sympathetic and continues to maintain regular contact with us while our offer remains on the table pending us getting another buyer.

I had heard about the quality of Jones Robinson estate agents in the Newbury area, so naturally got them in to review how they could sell our house. But I can honestly say now that this reputation is absolutely well deserved! Their professionalism, friendly demeanour and support has been so reassuring throughout the sale of our home. The quality of the documentation, the photos, and marketing has been fantastic. They didn't even need to give us advise/support on the house we were looking to move to, but they did!They came in with big promises, and delivered on every single one of them!.. Lettings - extremely variable.

I have been a client of Jones Robinson (previously Martin Walker) for over 12 years. In that time I have both let property through them and also sold properties. Lettings was fine when it was Martin Walker - after that when the firm became Jones Robinson the experience was, at best, extremely variable, and by the end it was singularly unhelpful. I would not let a property through them again.

Helpful throughout the whole process!

The Lambourn office were absolutely fantastic, so helpful and professional, always available when needed. I used Jones Robinson to sell my house.

I used Jones Robinson to sell my mother’s house recently. Not the easiest of sales as the house was empty and required some modernisation. Jones Robinson approached the sale professionally from the beginning in terms of pricing, and where and the best way to market the property. This resulted in being able to secure a sale and even with some minor setbacks along the way (in relation to property which were of no surprise), and achieved quicker than we hoped. Their response to any issues was excellent and always advised the same day by telephone as well and updated on weekly progress throughout right up to completion. Always felt confident the sales process was in capable hands and that throughout a highly professional and polite approach was provided, it helped considerably. All the staff in Marlborough were excellent throughout and highly recommend their services.

Not only was booking a viewing incredibly easy, but Jo, Kay and Carrie provided us with incredible information about the property and the area, given that they were local. A fantastic team that goes above and beyond

I've just bought a house that was sold via the Lambourn branch of Jones Robinson, and I honestly don't think I'd have got through it without them! Every single one of the team combined professionalism, integrity and efficiency with a genuine warmth - at no point did I ever feel like I was 'just another buyer'. It was an incredibly difficult purchase with problems from all other directions, but the Jones Robinson team were the ones who kept everything going and made it all work out in the end, even when I thought it would all fall through. I hope I never need to move again, but if I do I won't even look at another estate agent - I'll be going straight to Jones Robinson in Lambourn!
