If estate agents have a bad reputation, then Jones Robinson in Lambourn is a total exception. Buying a house is supposedly one of the most stressful things we go through, right up there with death and divorce. But the team in Lambourn has completely taken away all the stress of buying me a new house. Toyah Leonard has been keeping me in the loop on everything that’s going on, even getting in touch with my solicitor when I couldn’t reach him myself. She even went as far as to get permission to have some new furniture delivered to the house before the completion date. I also need to give a shoutout to Jo and Kay, who know exactly what’s happening if I call or drop by the office and Toyah isn’t around. They’re the real deal!!

I engaged the team at the Lambourn office to assist with the sale of my elderly father's bungalow, and I was very pleased with their support throughout the process. Jo handled the pre sale activities very efficiently, providing advice on pricing and marketing strategy. Toyah picked up the post sales activities, pro actively following up with my buyer's solicitor and estate agent. We encountered a number of challenges during this process, but Toyah worked through each methodically, updating my father and I on a regular basis. When Jo and Toyah were not available, the other ladies in the office provided efficient back-up. I would definitely recommend the staff at this office.

We deal with the Newbury branch for our letting needs and Jack the property manager there is a cut above the rest. We have rented through them for over a year now and Jack responds to emails in a quick time frame and any issues we have at all he will deal with in a timely manner try his best to turn it around as quick as he possibly can. The communication we receive when we have visits or work being carried out is fantastic. I get a call and an email initially confirming details and then a call the morning of to just double check everything is still okay to go ahead and a courtesy call when they have finished. I have rented for nearly 10 years and Jones Robinson has been the easiest letting agents I have ever used. If you let through them you will be in safe hands I promise. Thank you for your continuous great customer service we are very satisfied with how your business works. Thank you Jack for being a great property manager!!

Our journey with Jones Robinson Estate Agents Lambourn was nothing short of delightful, from the moment we first viewed the property to the exciting day we exchanged contracts. The whole team was so easy to reach and always ready to lend a hand. We were genuinely impressed with them starting from our early viewings. Carrie and Jo didn't just show us around; they shared so much information about the property as well as the local area. When they learned we had a little one starting school soon, they thoughtfully provided information about nearby schools. It's all these little touches that really makes them stand out from the rest. After our offer was accepted, the office manager Toyah went above and beyond to make the whole sale process as quick and as smooth as possible. Although she was representing the seller, she was incredibly supportive of us too. She was a star at keeping things moving, always one step ahead. Toyah was so accommodating, arranging extra viewings for surveys and measurements, and keeping us in the loop with weekly updates on how things were progressing. What really stood out was how Toyah liaised with both our solicitors and the vendor's, chasing up answers and making sure nothing fell through the cracks. It felt like she was genuinely invested in making this work for everyone involved. The whole experience with Jones Robinson was a pleasure - everyone we dealt with was so warm and helpful, even though we weren't their direct clients. Betrayed by Jones Robinson: Sold off to a scam company without consent

My neighbors and I initially signed a contract with Jones Robinson for our property management, believing we were in good hands with a reputable, local company. We specifically chose them because they assured us that we could continue paying our fees monthly, as we had always done. Their office was conveniently located nearby, allowing us to address any issues in person if needed.However, without our knowledge or consent, we were suddenly transferred to the dreadful, unprofessional company 'First Port,' which has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite our prior agreement with Jones Robinson, we’ve had to fight tirelessly just to maintain our monthly payment arrangement. To add insult to injury, we are now being charged additional fees for this 'privilege', something we never agreed to and would have outright rejected had we known.The customer service from First Port is appalling and their claims have been untrue and we have faced consistent inaccurate bills. We’ve been treated with disrespect, faced constant threats, and received no understanding or support. It’s baffling that Jones Robinson would abandon us to such a company.Even after following Jones Robinson’s complaints procedure, we have received no compensation or relief from the extra fees we now have to bear. I once had great respect for Jones Robinson, but after this experience I will avoid them at all costs and urge others to do the same. I even advised my mum not to use their services when selling her home. Thanks for nothing, Jones Robinson.

Called to enquire about a property in Newbury. The agent I spoke to , Alex, needs real training in how to sell. Told me he didn't want to waste my time showing me a property given it was 5k over my budget. He was patronising and smug. I actually could have superseded the offer already on the property but given his arrogant attitude, his absolute certainty in himself that he was correct and didn't want to employ basic politeness, I asked myself - "why bother?".
