I had a great experience with Francesco Allegri. Over the years I have had contact to many estate agents and rented property in many countries. Francesco was absolutely different. He is the best agent I've ever had the pleasure to work with. He is not just an agent, he is a real consultant. He does not simply tries to sell you something. He analyses your needs, thinks towards uncertain but probable and realistic developments based on your current situation and raises questions and solutions for issues one really has to think about thoroughly. He is thus forward-looking, planning, realistic and finds a solution for every problem. He is simply the best! A great character and enrichment for every team!

Had an amazing visit to Foxtons Vauxhall yesterday. Was met very politely at reception, and then Paul Sargeson introduced himself.I’d only rung him the day before to chat and find out more about the Nine Elms development. Within minutes Paul told me he’d lined up 5 viewings that evening - 2 hours later we’d done the tour and I must say Paul was brilliant. Helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I even got to ride in a Foxtons mini! Very impressed indeed! JOE

I had a brilliant experience with Joseph when purchasing my property. As it was my first property I wasn't entirely knowledgable of the process and Joseph was patient and always available to answer my questions no matter how small. He knew a lot about the area and could advise me on all the different options, he was always very professional yet approachable and kept my best interests in mind. I really appreciate all his help and assistance as I wouldn't have had such a positive first buying experience without his support!

I had a viewing for a property with Hannah last weekend. While the property isn't one I'm going to go ahead with, I wanted to thank Hannah for her fantastic support. Hannah was bright, bubbly and provided lots of valuable information about the property and the area. Unfortunately my Dad was late to the viewing due to traffic, but Hannah was really accommodating and still allowed him to view the property slightly late. Thanks Hannah!

This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

I feel that the experience was negative

I put my flat up for sale with my Foxtons, I was going to go with another agent but they were very pushy and said how they managed to sell better than anyone so I went with them. I was under the impression my flat would go straight up but after I signed the contract it took them 2 weeks to take photos and put them up, in the meantime they put up a video of the flat from a mid-term inspection where it looked absolutely disgusting. I had never seen this video and I don't see why it would be allowed to be put up without my permission, I asked for it to be removed, they didn't and it took them nearly the 2 weeks to remove it. The photos they took were adequate but not particularly great, I was pretty disappointed. I felt that the price was extremely over inflated (like all their prices) but respected they knew better than me, but when every single person gave feedback that it was way overpriced and no one showed any interest I became quite embarrassed. I found it very hard to contact my sales agent and just gave up most times after leaving numerous messages. I heard from my agent 10 times more before I signed with them than I did during my contract. When I gave notice 28 days before the end after having no interest, I was reminded how they are the number one and warned that going to another agent would not solve the issue. Their commission is so much more than everyone else but I feel my experience with their sales agent was extremely poor and I can't believe I had no interest in my nice flat. I feel I made a mistake going with them and would caution anyone thinking of them. Also I rented my flat with them for nearly 2 decades and my last tenant emailed them notice which they said they did not receive until the next day so they extended the end date to one day beyond the end of the month, they then charged me a management fee of £9 for the one day (and she paid £1 something rent for that one day). I will never rent with them again due to the complete lack of transparency with regards to money. (As for the excuse that the housing market is quiet I put my other property up for sale at the same time and it sold within 2 weeks, but then again the photos were really good and the price was reasonable).

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

Where do I start! Quite a joke of an agency. They’ve so far 1. Refused to acknowledge the end of our tenancy even though this was agreed, months prior, with the landlord. 2. Attempted to bully us (the tenants) into paying a “lost fees” charge of £1700- even though this was not applicable to us, as it only applied to “unauthorised end of tenancies” of which ours was not. 3. Sent unpleasant and bullying emails to try to make us pay. 4. Weeks after we’ve moved out, have been sending us emails saying our “rent account is in arrears” as they have failed to update their systems- no doubt damaging our credit scores 5. No reply regarding return of our deposit (it has been over 21 days and counting) 6. Lost the keys after I returned them on the move out day 😂😂 7. Lied about things our landlord had “said” I could go on….

This firm just take so much money for no work. They don't treat you well even after 10 years as a client. Every other agent is cheaper! 10% for literally nothing! Seriously Openrent has provided me same service and now I'm not paying any commission. Avoid! They are also overly legal when you question why the percentage has not reduced by the 5th year. Don't saddle yourself with this company! Read the articles out there about how they charge too much.

Worst estate agents I’ve dealt with. Foxtons reminds me of scammy sales people. Don’t waste your time and energy. We were essentially coerced into a 2 hour viewing, promised that it would be houses that are not yet on the market. We gave our requirements of the sort of houses we were looking for, and I requested to see photos, videos or have any prior information so that we can ensure that we will be interested in the properties. Allegedly there were none (although he managed to send over properties we didn’t have time to see in the viewing….). We were taken to honestly the most run down horrific houses, reminiscent of council flats, stank of weed which were in dodgy areas, and listed for £2,400 a month. The whole situation was honestly laughable. Save yourself the time and avoid this agency!!!!

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.
