Our property at Royal Arsenal Riverside…

Our property at Royal Arsenal Riverside is being let and managed by Foxtons over several tenancies. We are very impressed by the service of our property manager Titia Wootton who has managed our property throughout these tenancies with efficiency and professionalism. She is a valuable link between us as landlord and our tenants. Titia will go the extra mile to get things done. We know we can trust her for her good judgements when it comes to maintenance issues. The most recent set of maintenance issues related to the remedial work on the fire front door of our property, it had dragged on for months as one company after another pulled out of doing this type of work. Titia remained our contact person with these companies and our liaison person with the tenants so that the work was finally accomplished.

Had a really positive experience buying through Foxtons with William as our EA. We had some delays on the seller's side which William was great at chasing and generally I felt really looked after/prioritised the whole time. Our completeion took about three months which feels like record time to me, and we were never left waiting when issues arose. Nice to have an EA who seems invested in your sale going smoothly :)

Avoid

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Based on my experience, I would advise new landlords to be extremely cautious with Foxtons. The agent’s explanations of commission and contract terms were unclear, and I ended up in a lengthy dispute over unexpected fees. Which is escalated to ombudsman and will probaly go to the court. Never trust a word of Foxton's agents. Always insist on written communication and carefully review all documents before signing. I would not recommend Foxtons to others based on my experience.
