Jessica williamson made my whole experience of selling and buying a fantastic one, she was always on the other end of the phone, answered any questions we had about anything, nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you Jessica 😘 The Solicitors on the other hand where hard to reach, I felt they never really engaged with us, when you have never done this before, you look for a guiding hand with knowledge of whats happening and someone you can rely on, we don't feel this was what we got, unfortunately more often than not we felt ignored. Yes the portal was there, but never updated, it was a more of a toolfor Blackburn Birchall to ensure they ticked boxes. Sorry that was our experience.

Positive points: Branch Manager was very helpful during initial process, and guided me very well and house went up on sale fairly easily and quickly. The drawing of contract was easy.Negative points: Once house was sold, Lack of communication, I wasn’t kept up to date, I had to do lots of chasing around and even with that I would get redundant answers. Any information I was seeking from seller where agent has to act as a bridge, it was almost impossible asking them for help. Staff not very helpful. Based on this I think they are overpriced for services they give. Will I recommend R&D? No!

Ada worked hard to try and keep everyone infomed even through some parties/solicitors were less than helpful at times. One thing that would have helped would be to tell buyers/ sellers not to book vans until they recieve written confirmation. As a person who doesn't buy/sell houses often that would have really helped.

Nichola and the team in the Slaithwaite branch made the sale of my mother-in-laws house both seemless and efficient. They constantly chased the buyers/solicitors and myself when needed and pro-actively moved things to a final completion. The sale wasn't as straight forward as it might have been but this was due to power of attorney and third parties involved but having Nichola and the team on my side gave me a greater understanding of what was needed and helped greatly. Appalling service!

Appalling service!This company should be shut down.Booked a viewing nearly 3 weeks ago was told the 2nd March was the earliest they could do. No available staff which I questioned on two further phone calls.Been told today the property is sold even though I had been told only a week ago no other viewings have taken place or are booked we will be next to view.To then be told someone viewed 4 days after we enquired.To then check and see the property was updated as sold on right move days ago, so another lie told today about when the offer was made.Third time this has happened across other ryder and dutton offices with other viewings over the past 2 yrs Blatantly they are deciding who can and can not buy the houses they list. Please if you are a seller use any other company I will refuse now to ever view a property with this company and will be reporting them there conduct is not legal or professional

A little late putting this on due to house move and Xmas holidays. Our purchase was from Ryder We also chose Ryder solicitors and I am so glad we did. We were kept updated throughout quick responses via emails and calls. Ryder were especially very helpful with our purchase and liaising with the solicitors on our behalf. Throughout the process we viewed the property we were purchasing about 6/7 times. Every time it was never an issue Ryder always fitted us in, this helped so much when choosing appliances/furniture etc as due to Xmas period had to get things ordered. From the very start of the house selling process, when Graham Shuttleworth, Branch Manager at the Rawtenstall office first came out to value mum’s house, we have found the help and support from everyone involved to be excellent. Graham was very tactful and sympathetic of mum’s situation and dealt gently with her.Once the sale was agreed, Laura Gittins became our contact in the Manchester office and was diligent in keeping us updated on progress. We have now exchanged contracts and agreed a completion date.On our experience with them I can highly recommend these estate agents.

The team at the Chadderton branch were really responsive and very patient with me constantly wanting updates from a very slow sale. Lewis gave his advice on an approach for marketing which resulted in an offer on the first day it was viewed. He also took photos of the property which really did help present the property at its best.James kept me updated with me progress with the buyer who had unexpected issues which made the sale much slower than anticipated.
