The personal touch boosts everything. People were approachable and kept appointments on time. ,any concerns were speedily addressed, and any difficulties explained. I really cannot see how service could be improved. However being in a senior age group I found use of emails and remote signing daunting and off putting - could old fashioned paper be offered as an alternative?

Perfect service from start the finish. We mainly dealt with Kia who made the process so easy and stress-free for us as first time buyers. She helped in anyway she could and kept us in the loop. Absolute bunch of scammers. Moved out of a property of theirs over a month ago now. They did an inventory after I gave the keys back which is very unprofessional and shadey, then made up a load of absolute rubbish trying to keep my deposit. They’ve even had a new tenant living in the property a very short time after I moved out. I am now going down the legal route and informing bodies around this for my money to be returned. Avoid at all costs as they will try to scam you. There’s a lot better estate agents in Huddersfield who actually care about their tenants.

I sold my apartment through Martin Thornton and I cannot fault their service. Phoebe did a great job and one particular shout out is to Zoe Allison for going above and beyond to get my apartment through the finishing line. She gave brilliant service. Professional, driven and cared. All staff gave their best so was much appreciated. I did have issues with selling my apartment and it didn’t go through the first time, none of this was due to Martin Thornton so they are not at fault and they did there best, however I did use their recommended solicitors (ison Harrison) and they made serval mistakes which caused a long delay, terrible service and I would not recommend these solicitors as it cost me a lot of money in the end! Due to them being recommended by Martin Thornton I would say that was the only let down. Again, not a reflection of the hard work by Martin Thornton but as they were recommended by them I do want to mention it. Five stars for Martin Thornton staff!
