A bottle house from you people read in Denton they didn’t tell anything wrong in the house. There’s when we bought the house we went there and we see there’s so many like door is not closing. Lock is not proper. The window is broken. They should tell us before.

A little late putting this on due to house move and Xmas holidays. Our purchase was from Ryder We also chose Ryder solicitors and I am so glad we did. We were kept updated throughout quick responses via emails and calls. Ryder were especially very helpful with our purchase and liaising with the solicitors on our behalf. Throughout the process we viewed the property we were purchasing about 6/7 times. Every time it was never an issue Ryder always fitted us in, this helped so much when choosing appliances/furniture etc as due to Xmas period had to get things ordered. First time I’ve ever used Ryder I would defiantly recommend them. Caz and Paul

From the very start of the house selling process, when Graham Shuttleworth, Branch Manager at the Rawtenstall office first came out to value mum’s house, we have found the help and support from everyone involved to be excellent. Graham was very tactful and sympathetic of mum’s situation and dealt gently with her.Once the sale was agreed, Laura Gittins became our contact in the Manchester office and was diligent in keeping us updated on progress. We have now exchanged contracts and agreed a completion date.On our experience with them I can highly recommend these estate agents.

The Oldham office (Laura Chadderton in particular) were excellent not only in marketing our property but also in providing support following a burst pipe and extensive water damage immediately prior to our first completion date. With R&D's help we were able to retain the interest of our buyers and successfully completed our sale some months later.

The team at the Chadderton branch were really responsive and very patient with me constantly wanting updates from a very slow sale. Lewis gave his advice on an approach for marketing which resulted in an offer on the first day it was viewed. He also took photos of the property which really did help present the property at its best.James kept me updated with me progress with the buyer who had unexpected issues which made the sale much slower than anticipated. We were very excited when the staff told us our offer had been accepted, but we did not know that it was just a joke to us. The staff updated us by phone and told us the seller accepted our offer and asked me to send them all the bank statements, and other information they needed and pay them to find a solicitor. We thought everything should be alright, but they called us yesterday and told us the seller had not accepted our offer yet!? I asked them how it was possible; their answer was they had not received the documents we sent two days before and one of the staff who took the phone told me they received them. When I tried to call them all their answer was "I do not know" or "My colleagues have not passed it to me yet". Last but not least, we already got a solicitor doing the confirmation and they told me we can still use their service to find another house. I do not think it is making any sense! That is truly awful to a first-time buyer who needs your help and you did it in a "perfect" way. This was planned to be a five-star comment but that seems like a total disaster to me now.

I was really pleased with the professional, friendly and helpful services at R&D. Alex was always in constant communication and after using a number of other agents which fell short of the service I expected, Alex and R&D sold me house and guided me through the process all the way to completion and exchange. When Alex wasn't available there was always someone else on hand who could help. I would highly recommend R&D in Rawtenstall.

It is rare to find such a good Estate Agent. All the staff at the Slaithwaite branch, including Nichola Wain, Laura Watts, Leanne, Martha and Kim were fantastic. I appreciated how helpful they were, especially Nichola who rang me every week for regular updates and was patient throughout. I would recommend them to anyone. Geraldine Marsden handled my queries very well though communication via email was in my opinion not always the quickest way. Getting through on the phone to the office was always a nightmare. And often I was told that the person I wanted worked in a different office. If I was struggling to get through on the phone I am sure buyers were having the same trouble. A surveyor who was surveying for the buyers said his company had the same trouble.
