GoogleNever told us the address of the property when we turned up the estate agent went to let us in till we said. This is not the property I booked to look at so he rang the office to find out only to find out they have made a mistake the actual house was in another street. They did not show us around the owners did and the woman in the office was very rude and abrupt on phone she said it’s yours problem to ring for the address not our problem to let u no the address u should be at we also said u have not confirmed via e mail she called us a liar when we said u have not send an e mail. What a rude unprofessional company. the owners of the house was not impressed when we told them how rude they was however the owners was lovely and polite Keep clear of Martin Thornton Huddersfield estate agentsNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleFantastic staff, very very helpful. From seeing the rented house to getting the keys very fast. Updated me all the way through the process. Polite and professional staff. When we moved in there were a few faults witj the house and Sam contacted the owner and resolved all in a ver efficient timely manner. If i could give no stars that would be kind they messed me around on a property between them the seller and Ramsdens solicitors they couldnt melt chocolate in a oven13 weeks of chasing and getting nowhere just to be lied at constantly.So as of yesterday I cancelled my offer and are now looking again, back to square one which is where I was after 13 weeks with this one What makes this worse is i've sold my house my girlfriend sold hers I have cats in a cattery costing money i've paid money out for searches on a house that has massive issues like its not on the land register as a separate property etc etc which they all know about All this could have been avoided if these clowns acted correctly.Update today 13/08/20 its been relisted as a new property not that its been for sale from September 2019 again any trick to sell with no morals then the clown i was dealing with has sent me this property as a matter of interest

Terrible service. In particular an estate agent called Emma Brookes in Oldham, Manchester. We enquired about a couple of rental properties and had a couple of questions initially before booking a viewing. We got an response from our very first email in the first day then nothing since. We called twice and the woman on the phone left a note with Emma to email us back then the second time an email was sent chasing her up again. Still no response. Then we find out the houses we were interested in have been let out? Thank you for not even giving us a chance as you didn’t respond to our questions or give us any info or pass our offer onto the landlords. Luckily we’re not DESPERATE for finding a new place or I’d be really angry that we were robbed of the opportunity.
