Great property management service!

Moira is the Property Manager dealing with my property and she is always very efficient and professional. She ensures that any tenant issues are communicated to me promptly and arranges contractors as required. Recently Moira has gone above and beyond while dealing with some maintenance issues that had to be resolved between a change of tenants. She even visited the property out of hours to check on progress and to help ensure that the length of time my property was empty was kept to a minimum. Thank you!

Avoid this place at all cost

Avoid this place at all cost. I placed and offer giving the asking price for a property, I called 3 times to ask for an update only to get a response "we will let you know once the seller decides". Today I got an email that my offer was rejected and no option to increase it. When I called to discuss, willing to increase my offer significantly, I was told that I should have increased my offer even if it hadn't been rejected. 41 years of life never heard that before, that's completely against the laws of "offer and acceptance".Also the advice I was given was to always offer my top offer straight away, ok that's another new for me. Next time I will offer 50% above asking price to entertain myself and waste peoples time.

We recently sold our house through Martin Thornton and also bought our new house. We were assisted by Elisha who I cannot praise highly enough. Throughout the whole process she was informative, understanding and helpful, and showed how exceptional she is at her job. She is an asset to the team and made the whole process less complicated than it could have been. Hopefully we won't be moving any time soon but if we were to, I would not consider any other estate agents; there's a reason for their glowing reviews! Kyra was also a huge help in the process, she was a calming ear when there were bumps in the road and saved my blood pressure a few times! My only niggle would be to please tone down the brightness of the lights in store! It's like Blackpool illuminations!

I can't speak highly enough. about the service provided by Martin Thornton and Lydia Taylor in particular when dealing with the sale of my late Mothers flat. There were some complications as the sale was from the estate and I as executor live in mid Wales. However nothing was too much trouble for Lydia and I was kept fully informed all the way through the transaction in a friendly but professional manner. A very professional company. Martin came round and gave a very honest appraisal of the market and what sort of price the house could potentially sell for. He also made some excellent points about how the property should be priced in order to achieve the greatest amount of interest and "clicks" from potential buyers. The photographer was also superb, taking excellent images of the property, showing it off in its best light. The office staff are also outstanding. Elisha is an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic sales negotiator who was able to communicate effectively with potential buyers, and then later with the actual buyers, keeping all parties informed of the different stages of the conveyancing process. The other staff in the office are also excellent, displaying a very high level of customer service. As a result, my house sold very quickly for over the asking price and the transaction went extremely smoothly. I believe this was in large part down to the skill and professionalism of Martin Thornton Estate Agents. Yes, you can certainly market your property more cheaply elsewhere, but the service and level of expertise you will get elsewhere will not be on the same level as what this company offers.
