Katarina is a fantastic mortgage advisor. My situation is a little more complex as I'm self-employed and had only been doing this full time for 1 year. Katarina was very thorough and discussed all mortgage options with me, as well as my business goals, so we could find the mortgage best suited to me now and in the future. I spoke to a few mortgage advisors before Katarina and she was a stand-out. 12/10 recommend.

We had a great experience with KFH Highgate and especially Sawan, Sharon and Ravi who secured us mortgage on our first property. We worked mostly with Sawan Shah and he was really helpful and and responsive through all stages of our property search, and offers on multiple properties.He was very detailed and helpful in the initial stages, explaining us in great details all the requirements from mortgage lenders, what should we focus on to present ourselves as attractive borrowers, and what are strong and weak points of our financial situation. We sent out multiple offers on different properties, and Sawan was consistently very clear, responsive and proactive in communicating his availability and setting us up with multiple agreements in principle. At the end, it was no surprise to us when the purchase and mortgage went through without any problems or surprises, as we have already experienced very consistent and confident advise at all stages.Thank you once again Sawan, Sharon, Ravi and everyone else at KFH Highgate. We feel we couldn't be happier with the mortgage advisor experience, and we'd highly recommend anyone working with you.

TrustpilotAn absolutely horrendous and scarring…
An absolutely horrendous and scarring experience. I was clear and transparent about my particular situation throughout the entire process - with estate agent Christopher Waweru, yet was informed just one week before my move in date (after multiple calls were ignored/ dodged) that not only was I not moving in, but that they would keep my holding deposit. I was told my offer was 'dead in the water' and was offered no help at all. Shelley Matczak was particularly rude, I've never been spoken to like that from a professional in my life. Luckily I was able to file a complaint to a third party company and have since gotten my money back. Further proving that they had NO GROUNDS to keep my holding deposit.

The service we have received from KFH for the purchase of our property has been extremely efficient and reassuring throughout. Sawan Shah is an absolute legend and we cannot recommend his professionalism and approachability highly enough. My partner is self employed and he understood from the get go what was required to ensure our 'story' was told with the respect it deserves. Sharon Seale's clear and transparent communication helped us understand each step of the process and what was required from our end. Moreover, Ravi Chauhan hosted two extremely helpful calls to ensure our mortgage protection was processed with ease, his communication was also excellent throughout.

TrustpilotA good estate agent was essential when selling an inherited rented property
I sold an inherited rented property recently on behalf my siblings. The property was left in a very poor state by the last tenant (who also owed rent). Notwithstanding this I think KFH probably achieved the best price the demise would command at the time. Tom and Cameron kept me regularly informed of all the offers and generally communication was excellent. This became essential when dealing with the conveyancers (it would seem lawyers have their own time-scale (despite both parties wishing to complete asap). Admittedly having a three-way ownership split did not help. Property transaction will never be a simple process and it will always be necessary to obtain good, prompt and reliable information and advice. I am a Chartered Surveyor so was somewhat biased when choosing to use KFH, who have a professional surveying department. They respected that I knew something about the housing market and their communications reflected that, as opposed to my legal advisers whose instructions and advice was perfunctory at best. I would always advise, where possible to instruct an estate agent who employs Chartered Surveyors and certainly would employ KFH again.

As a client you need to be able to communicate with your agent in confidence, discuss options and provide private and confidential feedback, not communication that is available to other parties.

Sawan is the man! He has made my property search bearable and his intricate knowledge of mortgages and my financial situation has been explained to me in layman terms so that I have understood and have been supported 100% throughout this long, arduous journey. He even went so far as to visit a competitor estate agency with whom I had made an offer, to check out if I was getting the best deal. I cannot rate Sawan highly enough. He’s personable and highly skilled and I have felt helpfully led along the house buying route. Thanks Sawan

I was a first time buyer - Darren Tait was the estate agent for the property I was purchasing, Pardeep Chahal was the mortgage consultant. Both were fantastic - great communicators, reliable, trustworthy, and patient with my many questions. I'm particularly grateful to Darren for all his hard work - due to tomfoolery in the chain above he went above and beyond chasing solicitors and other agents to ensure the purchase completed in time.

I purchased my first flat through KFH. They were very efficient and responsive during this process, and guided me well. However, apart from these, my experience was not at all positive. It became evident very quickly that they were working solely for the benefit of the seller. Little to none was done to take into account what would work for me, both mortgage-wise, and in terms of discussing exchange/completion dates - it was always a matter of doing what the seller wanted. There were also a few events of miscommunication/incorrect information which resulted into me losing some money.I do acknowledge that they were dealing with a particularly demanding seller, but in my opinion, what makes a good agent (or rather a good employee in general), is their ability to deal with difficult, non-trivial situations. I would not recommend KFH as a buyer.

I was very happy with the way KFH dealt with letting out my property. Within 6 days of giving instruction they had collected the keys, arranged photos, marketed the property, conducted several viewings and secured an offer. I liaised with several staff members and all were easy to deal with and very helpful including Stephanie, Amy, Andree, and a special mention to Demi who was brilliant in securing the tenant and negotiating favourable terms! The service KFH provided was very professional, personable and friendly and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the company or using them again! 5 Stars 🌟

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of sales progression. There was practically no communication after I accepted an offer. I had to chase a couple of times whenever I wanted an update on how things were going with my buyers and what to expect. Asking once was not enough to elicit a response. Also, the fact that my buyers wouldn't be able to complete before a certain date was not mentioned to me when the offer was passed on.

I have just wasted two and a half hours of my time driving to view a house that the agent couldn’t get into because of poor communication with the seller.

In reference to the KFH Crystal Palace branch.Before dealing with KFH, we had already had very bad experiences with other local agents when looking to buy our first property.Therefore, from the off it was incredibly refreshing to deal with KFH Crystal Palace. All members of staff which we engaged with were incredibly professional, proactive and diligent. We want to give specific shoutouts to Lewis James and Nick Reeves. Lewis was clearly very experienced when supporting us with negotiating the purchase price with the seller, and was always contactable to speak through our position.Nick led our viewing of the property that we ultimately purchased. Straight away it was clear he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer almost all of our queries (and we asked A LOT of questions). For the ones he couldn't answer, he actually followed up (other agents said they would but never did) with us the next day, having clarified with the sellers. He was incredibly thorough and proactive, often preempting our questions as buyers and contacting the sellers accordingly to clarify any outstanding points. What we really valued was Nick's regular calls and mails updating us of the sellers position and progress, helping avoid stress in what can be a very stressful process. A huge special thank you Nick for your support throughout the process, we really appreciate it.We also wanted to mention Dwayne Whyte, who we viewed many properties with earlier on in our search. Dwayne was incredible helpful and he ensured we were also the first to hear about properties that actually met our criteria (can't be said about other agents!).Overall, we had a brilliant experience and we would highly recommend using KFH, whether you're buying or selling. Stephen sold our 3 bed maisonette and assisted in our purchase of our new 'to be' forever home. Stephen was great at managing both our sale and purchase and it always felt like he had our interests at heart and was fIr to both parties whilst doing so. He was available out of standard hours to ensure the sale and purchase went ahead smoothly and we wouldn't regret in recommending him to friends and using Stephen in particular in the future.

Huge thanks to Catherine Wood at KFH Beckenham, who is one-of-a kind in her industry. She is exceptionally knowledgable both about the properties she is selling and the local area. She also really takes the time to understand in detail what a prospective buyer is looking for in order to find a good match for them in record time. An excellent communicator, Catherine is extremely good at presenting properties to buyers and is very proactive at checking in with buyers each week to make sure they haven't missed a property which is newly on the market or which they may have overlooked but could be a good option. On every viewing, she provides all the information clearly and is at the ready to answer questions and make suggestions while allowing plenty of time for buyers to take in the details for themselves and form their own opinion. She was always very clear and straightforward in representing the position of the vendors to us so we could understand how things might progress. Catherine has a deep understanding of pricing in the Beckenham market in particular which is important in order to feel confident that the transaction is being handled fairly and respectfully to all parties. We are so grateful as buyers for all the help and advice that we received that we have already started recommending Catherine to friends in the area who are looking to sell properties and will definitely be seeking her help when we eventually come to sell our property. Very highly recommended.

All the staff at KFH Beckenham Branch were very efficient and reactive from the valuation and putting our flat on the market through to generating numerous visits in spite of a a slack winter market and finally the sales process.We've been updated regularly throughout and could always talk to a member of the team (mainly Maxine, Steph, Catherine, Dan and David) in the office whatever the issue.We greatly appreciated their reactivity and liaising with both our solicitors and the buyer's one in order to facilitate and expedite the process and alleviate the stress involved when it became quite complex at times.

My daughter and I met Myles when we went to view a lovely flat in Bromley. I was running late because I live outside London and Myles could not have been more accommodating with the change to the time we were able to make to get to the property. He showed us around the whole flat, remembered to open every single cupboard for us to look through (not a minor matter when space is at a premium in London). We sold our house with the Sydenham branch of KFH and they were great throughout.Toby the agent who handled our sale process and the bulk of the viewings deserves particular praise: responsive to our queries, quick to share updates from our buyers, proactive in seeking updates from 3rd parties like our buyers solicitors and was friendly and easy to deal with throughout. We ended up using their mortgage brokers too and this was not quite as good: the broker was quite hard to get a hold off and didn't flag things like the fact that the interest rate with our lender went up between the initial discovery and getting an offer. We got there, but it was a more difficult experience than other mortgage brokers we had worked with. Sales was 5-star, mortgage broker was a 3.
