Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

I contacted Foxton’s in Kingston to find out what floor a flat they were advertising was on. In order to answer this simple question, they wanted me to open an online account which would then be bombarded with adverts for flats I wasn’t interested in and refused to answer my original question until I had done this. Dreadful as always

We listed our house with foxtons and the service has been abysmal. There’s been next to no effort or movement with trying to sell the house, no communications with any options etc. You get an account online which shows upcoming viewings - almost all viewings ‘booked’ haven’t actually happened and they don’t contact us to confirm it either. You expect a lot from an estate agent with their level of commission - dont bother.

GoogleWe've been working with Alfie and Matthew on our flat purchase and we cannot speak highly enough about them. They have been exceptional on communication, they've gone above and beyond what's asked or expected, and they've been completely clear and open with us about every situation as it has arisen. GoogleKris was very kind and helpful in getting us a flat. Super prompt reply. Good communication Already recommended my friends Soooo I was wrong about it. Two months later, we have issues with the house and the landlord so we reached out the agent for help. But everyone is trying to dodge the bullet here. It’s all like a fantasy until you signed the contract. Once you signed it, the agent wouldn’t do much more about it. Just leave you with the landlords, in which the landlords were not being able to reach out at all. The house needs repairs, but all of the landlord and agents got ghosted. Not replying messages as promptly as before, only reply selectively. “There’s nothing we can do” “maybe you could try lettingsupports@foxtons” but still no reply or whatsoever. Very disappointing with the service, with the staff, with the entire experience. Just don’t fall for that please. Don’t wanna give a star at all.

GoogleIt won't be enough to thank Mr. James, a real person who understands and helps us out to find the property which could fit all our requirements. He is just a gentle man with an amazing personality and with high standards of professionalism. He was initially bit confused with our demands and budget and James was able to exceed my expectations with his impeccable attitude and genuine passion to help find our family a home. I could not recommend a better agent.

GoogleAs a renter in New Malden, it is really difficult to find a rental house. There is a shortage of housing, but there is a high demand for living in a pleasant environment in New Malden. There are many real estate agencies in New Malden, but I would recommend Foxtons. Foxtons has a lot of properties and there are several professional agents, so smooth viewing is possible. Rachel was the Foxtons' agent and kept in touch with me until I found a house. She was also committed to ensuring that the contract with Landlord was well executed when I found a house I liked. Eventually, the contract was successful and my family is able to stay in a good house at a reasonable price. Thank you very much Rachel.

GoogleIt was a great experience moving into a new place with Foxtons especially during the turbulent market nowadays. From day one Rachel was very helpful as she arranged for 5 viewings in one day of properties that exactly matched the description, and we settled for one of them eventually. Rachel was also very informative and communicative from the beginning of the process until the end and even after moving in as she made sure that everything is in order.

used to be good but ever since the intro of the renters rights acts, property management service has dropped off a cliff. This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

He was incredibly enthusiastic about us to our new Landlord, which is especially helpful when moving with a dog! TrustpilotDo not rent through Foxtons
If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.
