Great service from property managers

Dexters manages the apartment I rent in Lower Holloway, they are very supportive and quick whenever we signal an issue in the property. During the last visit, their Senior Property Manager Petros Giorganios went above and beyond in showing us how to better use and maintain the heating system, on top of being very kind and courteous.

Disappointed beyond explanation

Hi,I am leaving a feedback and review about Dexters because I am renting a flat through their agency. I hope that helps tremendously to people who will try to use their agency. Please do not do it. Avoid using Dexters at any cost. I regret every day renting and living in this flat. We've moved on 24/04/21 and today is 20/05/21. The agent who showed us the flat told us that the hot water and heating is included in the rent price. When we moved in we realised there is no radiators/heating in the bedrooms. How bizzare is this. That's complete scam. Their maintance company is beyond useless. I've complain, called, and sent so many emails until now. I had to chase 10 days to sort out entrance keys for the block where we live because upon collecting the keys the first day we receive only 1 key and we are 3 people living in the property. Shower is not yet fixed. Regarding bed we asked for a single and their company completely swapped the big double bed with single. So now my flatmates who are a couple sleep on a small 1 1/2 bed and a sofa. The fridge is broken since more than 1 week and we reported it as damaged since the beginning and no one yet fixed it. As well I've bought a hose for 15 pounds with the permission of the manager who said that the money will be refunded to me. Then she said after 1 week that I bought the wrong hose and I have to pay it. They will not refund my money and to go and return it. So how I can return something that we are using at the moment???? That is bizzarre. Their maintenance company is complete scam. The owners of properties are paying the company to manage properties but nothing is fixed at all. All the time I am told that their handymen are busy. Great. I will never ever again use Dexters for anything. When the rented flat contract is finished I will not use them for sure. They can't handle their management issues. And when the due date for the rent is up they decide to do something about it. Really???? 4 weeks in the flat and nothing has been resolved except the keys which I went personally to speak with the managing director to sort out. And he did. So I had to wait 10 days outside the property for someone to open the door. And I am paying deposit and rent. Thank you.

Petros was outstanding in customer care, I email or call him for any issue with regards to my apartment, and he would always handle it with best care. I would say agents like Petros are an asset to the Dexter. I wish Petros good luck in all future endeavours.

Substandard service, use at your peril

I can honestly say, Dexters Acton is the worst Estate Agents I have had the misfortune of using, over my many years of owning and selling properties. I have to give the most ineffective and uncommunicative award to Julian Kroll, who is an ‘old school’ salesman, with little substance.I urge anyone wanting to sell or indeed Let their property, NOT to use this agent, as in my opinion, you will be very disappointed with the service…you have been warned.
