The blind leading the blind.

You get assaulted by a neighbour with evidence to prove and they don’t do anything. Also if the neighbour in question is ex military they will just take their word for it. Now I am being accused of assault on him when in fact I am the victim as I say with proof. Also the housing when they come out will openly slag off neighbours to you , not much confidentiality is adhered to at all..and not very professional either. The victim is made to feel like the criminal. Disgusting.

Jigsaw Homes - A Complete Shambles!

I bought a property that has a lease with Jigsaw Homes. They provide maintenance of the grounds and the fabric of the building. When one of the properties upstairs had a leak from the bathroom, the person wouldn't answer the door and I reported this to Jigsaw who promised they would sort the matter out. Many months went by and the water leak was still damaging the ceiling. eventually they sent a team to repair, no communication regarding the extent of the damage or what repairs have been done and when I asked them to repaint my ceiling it was another ordeal in eventually getting this done. The repainted ceiling is now peeling, There have been numerous communications with Jigsaw Homes that result in nothing. There is definitely a lack of communication between departments and the standard of service is very poor. As another reviewers have said, Jigsaw Homes is a shambles. If possible, I would recommend avoidance of this company and its properties.

I was told when i was forced to move…

I was told when i was forced to move due to being the victim of a violant crime that even though i was being forced out of a 3 bed house with garden to a 2 bed flat without and suffering mental health and having a child with special needs that i would atleast get a private area to be able let my dog out.no such luck.looks like not only will i be seperated from my children, grandchild and friends,i will also have to give up my dog aswel.just to be clear i was not allowed to refuse the property as it was a managed move as i was a victim,i do not get a say in any of it.if i refused it i would not be rehoused and i was not allowed to go back to my previous property.i hate to think what would happen if id done anything wrong if being a victim takes my choices away

Jigsaw was great. Katie from the lettings team was super helpful, helping me all the way through the viewing and signing of the tenancy, and made the whole process fast and smooth from start to finish. I would highly recommend Jigsaw to anyone who is looking for a new home.

Purchased a new property described as a prestigious development finished to exceptional standards… the finish is a disgrace

I purchased my new build property over 12 months ago off plan. The marketing materials and show home led me to believe I would receive a high quality well finished house to of an “exceptional” standard in a “prestigious” development. Unfortunately my house was the last to be finished in the development and the builders left the site before my house was completed. Jigsaw forcefully said I need to pay them the full deposit and complete the purchase or they would just refund my deposit and sell my reserved house to someone else. They confirmed to me that the house was fully finished and all the previous snags had been taken care of, so I completed in the property on this condition. Unfortunately when the keys were handed over they had changed the interior layout and the house was not finished as promised. They finish was of a poor standard and their snagging had been completely ignored. I was shocked the house had been signed off and it is unclear how it was signed off given the untouched snagging list was still in the property when I was given the keys. I had to pay for a snagging survey to be carried out at my cost due to the high number of issues present. There was supposed to be a defects period to rectify these issues, but the reality is Jigsaw’s contractor has 1 experienced generalist joiner to cover 3 development sites. He is simply unable to get around all the sites so the repairs are all months overdue past reporting and they are completed to a very poor standard. As some of the issues require specialist joinery skills the fix provided is a bodge job. The work is never reviewed or signed off and always left uncompleted. I have had my personal property damaged by the joiners errors on multiple occasions and neither the building firm or Jigsaw do anything to resolve the issues. The joiners try to cover the mistakes up but are not good at doing so and it is obvious damage has occurred. It’s dishonest. I have had to issue a summons to the small claims court against the builder used by Jigsaw who refuse to pay for the damage they have caused. Jigsaw refuse to get another company in to complete defects properly, or in the contractual timeframe, even though the contractor they are using (Tysons) are hopeless and consistently fail to come close to meeting repair deadlines. I still have issues from 12 months ago that remain unattended to, with no good reason for not attending them sooner. A common phrase I heard was we’ll fix it at the end of the defects period then when that arrived, it’s refused.I am now dealing with Jigsaw’s Ops director as the people dealing with this proceeding the Ops director’s involvement were unable to handle the matter. Unfortunately I am now no longer receiving communication back from the Ops director and so this is my first social media post to warn people about dealing with Jigsaw. Jigsaw agree that I have received awful customer service, but they won’t resolve the issues as they think it will eat into their profits and that they can fob me off sufficiently to avoid paying to fix the problems. I’m not going anywhere, and have already taken some legal action and more may follow. I had expected Jigsaw to bend over backwards to ensure the right people were quickly brought in to fix my property if this was a one off genuine mistake. Instead they/their contractors put up a fight to fix any issue, and still often don’t fix what was agreed. The irony is that if Jigsaw had just done what I asked it could have been fully resolved months ago and probably for far less cost that has been incurred by them to date for bodging everything. Jigsaw still have the option to fix things efficiently and cost effectively, but they seem to want to do everything as slow and unamicably, and for the greatest overall cost as possible. There is no logic, friendliness or commerciality to almost all of the decision making. This is the first social post I have made and more may follow including images of their shocking kitchen repairs which Jigsaw has described as being “in good condition” and therefore they won’t fix it. This is already a significant downgrade on the “exceptional” standard of finish I paid a premium price for in the “prestigious” development. The consumer code for house builders is clear this is mis-selling through misleading marketing. They have sold a high quality finished property and delivered something far from it and won’t fix it. I am now taking steps to resolve this via an independent dispute resolution service via my warranty provider and the consumer code for house builders. Should the finish issues not be covered under warranty I will be taking court action against Jigsaw. I estimate this will result in costs to Jigsaw that are at least 10-20 times what it would cost to fix my issues fully now by the time it reaches this stage of dispute.

Jigsaw offered me a property on 9th December, 2 salters court, Atherton, waited two months for this property. Only to be told the same week I should be viewing it that the property is no longer available due to a faulty gas meter and put it in writing that it will take up 6 months to repair and that they could no longer help. Passed me around like a piece of trash. All of this caused me have a relapse of ptsd and severe anxiety to the point the police had to get involved who are now awarevof the control between wigan council, homeless shelter and yourself and can fully understand why this has triggered my trauma! I was admitted into hospital Tuesday night . Confirming that I'm going through trauma due to coersive controll past 6 years that's all now documented with the police! And documented Sunday also on an interview regarding the above for an hour n half! So that's twice since Sunday! Wigan council said you had no right to offer me a flat unless it was ready for me to move in it. Police confirmed I'm next on the list but yet no one has got back to me from jigsaw to confirm this also! Can someone communicate in your office and ring me to give me an updatevof where we are! Telling me the only property you have available is 2 salters court! You seriously expect me to believe that nonsense! Or you going to make me ill again with lies? I need answers asap please! Distgusted how I have been treated and made me seriously ill.

We moved into a shared ownership house…

We moved into a shared ownership house at Linley Grange, Stalmine, through Jigsaw homes in March. There was a number of issues which needed to be rectified. These were brought to the attention of Jigsaw who took details and kept telling me that these had not been reported before, which they had. Then I was told the details would be passed to the site manager. They never were. I approached the site manager personally in August who did not know of any problems. He then sorted all the issues within a week.

Adactus / Jigsaw Have Destroyed 16 Years Of My Life!

Adactus Housing Association / Jigsaw Homes Group are without doubt the most utterly inept and thoroughly "evil" bunch of fools it has ever been my misfortune to encounter!I've lived on Fenton Street in Lancaster for 16 years. The very day I moved in, the "druggie" next-door (now dead; drug-related) stole my TV set! A few weeks later was the first incident of ARSON!As a sick and vulnerable gay man living alone, I have suffered: Theft, multiple (serious) arson, verbal abuse, threats of violence, multiple death threats, homophobia, I've been assaulted multiple times (including just recently), I've been threatened with a golf club and a knife, we've had gas pipes and meters wrenched off the wall, I found a used syringe outside my flat door, people have been seen "shooting up," drunken and drug-related antisocial behaviour is commonplace here!I've been attacked twice just recently in our communal hallway. The shocking list goes on and on (all fully documented with much evidence). The Trisha Goddard TV Show even expressed interest in this embarrassing nightmarish slum and it's "loopy" tenants!Adactus / Jigsaw have turned against me. They have declared me "vexatious / unreasonable" FOUR TIMES so far! They support the miscreant EVERY TIME! They've threatened me with EVICTION for complaining! They've blacklisted me as a "complainer" and a "nuisance."Two days after my Mother's funeral, Adactus sent the Police to kick my flat door in, feigning "concern" for my "welfare." They knew full well I had paused all dealings with them! They're cruel and spiteful!Adactus callously took advantage of my Mother's death in February, to "nullify" all existing "paused" complaints!I could write a book about how thoroughly "evil," "spiteful," and utterly incompetent Adactus are!Repairs and maintenance are not done. Adactus haven't cleaned our communal hallway since March 2020. They allowed rain to pour down the wall behind my bed for FOUR MONTHS throughout the winter storms of 2019. My decor is destroyed (photographed). Whenever it rains heavily, it pours in all my windows. These flats are a mismanaged, crime-ridden, rat-infested, rotting slum, populated by foul-mouthed aggressive scum, and yet Adactus CONSISTENTLY refuse to fit CCTV (which would have caught my recent assault).I've not had a decent night's sleep in 16 years! The insomnia is KILLING ME!!!I'm taking Adactus / Jigsaw to the Housing Ombudsman. Then I'm going to sue them. Then I'm selling my story to the media!Obtaining "justice" from these "monsters" is proving surprisingly difficult. MP's are not interested. Legal Aid was only concerned with their fees. The Police are hopeless. I'm at the end of my tether, and at my wits end. From March 2020 to June 2021, Adactus allowed the flat below mine to be taken over by a homeless person (the brother of the legal tenant). Homeless people hung around outside my window. They were abusive and threatened me repeatedly (I have recordings). My life was a misery for 15 months. The tenant was finally evicted recently.Just recently, my 70 year old neighbour was having a party at 03:00 am. He's known for such behaviour. He attacked me, trying to force his way into my flat. I recorded the attack on my Smartphone. The Police swallowed the drunkards denial, refusing to consider the recorded evidence. Adactus are launching a "sham investigation." As I said, the miscreants are ALWAYS supported!Currently, my contact with these "monsters" is limited to 200 words. They once childishly returned an email with the excess text crossed out!I have myself recently declared Adactus themselves to be "vexatious / unreasonable" and their contact with myself is limited to postal communications of 200 words or less! How will it all end? Watch this space ......NEWSFLASH: After suffering at the hands of abusive and aggressive homeless people who took over the flat below mine, after losing my beloved Mother, after having the Police sent to kick my door in (by Adactus) 2 days after my Mother's funeral, after a recent break-in, and after being attacked by a drunken neighbour, I have recently discovered that Adactus have declared myself to be "Vexatious / Unreasonable" for the FOURTH TIME. Adactus REALLY don't like it when you complain about being attacked by foul-mouthed drunken neighbours, etc! My contact with the Association is LIMITED to 200 words! I have imposed the SAME contact restrictions on Adactus themselves for the next 24 months!Case referral to the Housing Ombudsman Service, and / or Legal Proceedings, pending!Come to live in a lawless, mismanaged, rotting Adactus slum at your PERIL!!! ...... You WILL regret it!!!

I am just moving in to a jigsaw flat…

I am just moving in to a zjigsaw flat now. Karen, the Jigsaw lady has been really patient with my quite complicated situation and I find working with her very easy. It is an older flat. The terms were explained clearly, and the problems of an older flat are being dealt with with more alacrity and care than I have seen any private company be willing to do. I'll comment more as we move forward.
