GoogleOverall, an experience that ended positively with Watson’s so would recommend but there are some lessons learnt which I hope they take on board to improve the customer experience. From the start, I found them to be friendly and down to earth during the valuation and pictures being taken. Within less than 24 hours of it being on their social media channels, they rang me to advise of a viewing and to book it in with myself. I advised that I was not doing the viewings as it was agreed that Watson’s would be doing them, hence what I am paying them for. I also reminded them they had a set of my keys which were provided for that purpose. They advised that an estate agent wouldn’t be available for the next week so I would have to do it and that it was on their system that I had agreed to do viewings, not them which was not the case. I juggled my plans and did the viewing the next day. Thankfully I received my full asking price offer which I accepted. From this step, I hadn’t heard anything for a few weeks but when I checked with my solicitors, they had not received anything from my buyer’s solicitors. Watson’s were surprised and said they would do weekly calls. I thought Watson’s would have done a check after the first week so was a little disappointed, but was reassured this would be done weekly. Although the experience so far wasn’t great, as soon as I had been assigned to Leanne, she was fantastic, kept me regularly updated and worked incredibly hard until the end. If it wasn’t for her, I would not be rating Watson’s 4 stars. Due to the shambles at the beginning and fact that I did the viewing myself which sealed the deal and managed to sell it without reaching the ‘full market’, I did hope that Watson’s might have given me a discount as I did their job for them, but hey ho, I might have to try my hand as an estate agent! To finish on a positive note, despite their errors, it definitely turned out to be a positive experience thanks to Leanne, so would recommend.

GoogleIn light of our previous (not so good) experiences with different EA over the years, I feel it very important to share a review of our contact with Watson’s. We were a potential purchaser, so had not ‘chose’ Watson’s, but what a wonderful team they are. Where our particular sale did not complete, we are extremely grateful for how Watson’s treated us and our overall experience with them as individuals and a company. We found it very easy to arrange viewings through them - the agents who showed us around the property had a lot of passion for their work. The addition of ‘sales progressors’ staff meant the process was well updated, and there was always someone to answer any questions we had. No one at Watson’s pressured us or made us feel terrible for having to make big decisions, and that was most important. Lucy and the rest of the team at Watson’s were very kind and helpful. My husband and I still speak of the team in such high regard, and I think it is important to share experiences with these services from all angles. Where we had not directly chosen to ‘work with’ Watson’s, our experience of their team in such a short space of time has kept them firmly in our minds should we ever need to chose an agent ourselves in the future. :)

GoogleGreat on the sale of our property and keen when we also purchased one with them. After the purchase and sale contact did get a lot less frequent and responses took a lot longer. we were in contact with our seller directly and knew updates etc 4 / 5 days or so before watsons were in contact. Completion day their was confusion over keys and access to our new home, again we knew from our seller what was happening where Watson's didn't have a clue. Email was sent after completion about some extras and after 6 days still ave received no reply from them. 2 weeks after completion and the sold sign is still outside our new home. Overall I would use them again especially to sell but I would expect a great experience.

From Will who came out to evaluate my house to Pam who is dealing with all the property particulars and not forgetting the sweet and lovely Monika- their In house photographer. This team has been professional yet friendly whilst dealing with the sale of my property. At my request I was keen to have the property on the market sooner rather than later and they turned the whole process around for me in as little as 10 days from step 1 when Will came to evaluate to activating my property live on all the marketing portals. GoogleRecently sold our house at Nuthall with Watsons and they were excellent. They are red hot on the marketing front - it took just 16 days from initial visit to accepting an offer. Very good regular comms with Laura, Sherie and team. If you are selling a property in Nuthall, Kimberley and Eastwood area then Watsons are the best agent by far in my opinion.

Angela (who was the Sales Progressor) was constantly in touch with all parties which made the whole process smoother. Francesca was also very helpful at the initial stage when we were trying to settle on the purchase price for the unit. Thumbs up to you guys ... and more grease to your elbows.
