Ben (who was our first port of call when signing the lease) is incredibly personable and an absolute joy to chat to! And the same can be said for everyone at the agency, including Adam and Michelle, who were consistently helpful with any house-related queries. GoogleRecently moved to Oxford and rented a place from them. Just so happen to have had some incidents with the rental in the past week, communicated the problem to the agency and it was acted on right away. The problem was actually resolved within 24 hours. Very remarkable I must say, given how generally rental agencies are preceived.

As a tenant, I found them to be very unprofessional. They repeatedly tried to add in additional clauses to the agreement after it had been signed, failed to manage repairs in an appropriate manner, refused to refund the correct deposit amount, discussed personal issues with neighbours, etc.. Thankful now to be clear of these people & renting from a lettings agent who knows the law & acts in a professional manner.

GoogleWe recently sold our house through Alistair Redhouse and highly recommend their services. Every member of staff we dealt with was polite, professional and efficient, communication was great at all stages in the process, and they recommended an excellent local solicitor who made the legal side of things run seamlessly. Alistair had kept in touch with us with the right level of tenacity - in contact but without being pushy or annoying, unlike other local agents - since valuing our house several years ago, and it was this approach that earned him our business. Thanks Alistair and team for making the sale of our house such an efficient and stress-free experience!

GoogleAlistair Redhouse have been a fantastic letting agent over the last four years of my tenancy. They are attentive and quick to respond to queries and staff have always been friendly and courteous in all my dealings with them. They are a small agency, and this means that they have a more personal approach, and do not have the corporate feel that one often gets with the big chains. I recommend them highly.

GoogleAlistair has just successfully sold our house. It was a long process due to the initial buyer dropping out unexpectedly. Alistair helped us find another buyer very quickly, provided lots of support and advice and helped us achieve a much better price than suggested by the other agents we approached. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your review. I’m surprised that you have had this experience. Tenants in our managed properties are asked to log maintenance matters using an online form. The maintenance job is then imported into our system which reminds us constantly to complete maintenance matters. I have tried looking you up on our system but have no tenant with the surname James, I wonder if you can give me a call on my direct dial number 01865 593301 so that we can get this resolved and I can get a deeper understanding about what went wrong.
