We have had a great experience with Foxtons! Firstly, the letting agent we dealt with (Claudia J) managed to fit us in for a viewing with very short notice and even drove us there as well as taking us to see a second option which we hadn't seen listed online (not to mention that she dropped us off at a previously arranged viewing elsewhere after showing us the properties). The second flat she showed us turned out to be a perfect option and we made an application that same day. The whole process was very smooth! Claudia was knowledgeable and very quick to come back to us with any queries we had. We dealt our transaction with Foxtons Notting Hill. Our agent Natalie Simpkin helped us to find a lovely flat in a great location. She is efficient, the viewings are always arranged in a short time. She showed us not only interiors of the properties but also the area, she knows her field well. When our offer was accepted, she continued to follow up and she took her time to discuss with us every during the reviewing. We should mention also that our deal was finally completed with the help of Oliver and Tom. When we had problems, Oliver was always helpful to find solutions for us, he is very experienced. They are all professional and know very well the market, we highly recommend this team in your housing research

I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.

Dreadful communications, only had 3 viewings in the 3 months I was with them. They also have my own property photos and however hard I try I can’t get anyone to send them back. You just get passed from pillar to post. Chuck the manager never picks up his phone. The valuation was way too high and the whole experience has just been a massive waste of time!

Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.

They really made flat hunting a terrible and anxious experience, while it genuinely is not. I learned by reaching to other agencies in areas of my interest and seeing a drastic difference in communication quality, transparency, empathy, flats choice, etc. Everyone in Foxtons is absolutely incompetent and unprofessional.
