GoogleI use Linley and Simpson as a letting agent for property in Sheffield. The standard of service received genuinely is exceptional in my opinion. Corey has been particularly helpful during some recent issues but the whole team are great.

GoogleAwful company, please do no use. I booked a viewing in Sheffield and it was cancelled twice a few hours before the viewing, when I had already got to the property and was waiting for the agent Jordan to arrive. Jordan informed me that the viewing was cancelled because the tenant was not in, however I rang the doorbell and the tenant was in fact in. Jordan also let me know that he would arrange to rebook my viewing and did not make further contact since then. Waste of time,
We apologise that we had to cancel your viewing with such short notice. Unfortunately we do not hold a key for the property you had arranged a viewing for, so we are reliant on the tenants providing access for viewings. Upon arriving into the office on Saturday morning the tenants had not confirmed that they would be able to provide access for the viewing and at this point we called you as early as possible.

GoogleI cannot give 5 stars, as I had a really bad experience with them for quite some time. Linley and Simpson took over my tennacy agreement when they bought the letting agency that I had previously signed with. However, lately, I have to mention two stars on their team. HELEN AND MEGAN B. They were amazing ! If I would rate the company based on only these two I would give them 10 stars ,not 5. They did their best to help out with the issues that rose during my tenancy, and they kept me in the loop with the situation. They are amazing!

GoogleAvoid renting out apartment 312 Royal plaza in Sheffield. The landlord scammed us and literally took our money. He stole 400 from our 600 GBP deposit (each) to fix things that we didn't even damage. He took advantage of the fact that we were students, so we couldn't do much about this as we didn't even know. Now it is obviously too late to take any action. We were in communication with the tenants after us and the landlord nor the company actually fixed the 'apparently' damaged items by 'us'. Which confirms he just stole out money. About the actual company themselves, horrible communication and it took us multiple emails/calls for them to actually answer us back. We chased them for almost two months to get the remaining of our deposit back. When we got the apartment, they said it was professionally cleaned, (what a joke), considering I spent a week cleaning literally everything, including BUGS, FLIES and ROTTEN GUTS/MEAT that were left in the fridge by the previous tenants and left to rot for months with the electricity off. Ofcourse when contacting the company about this, they did nothing. Please enjoy the photos attached. Avoid this apartment at all costs no matter how good it seems at first.

GoogleI was living in an apartment which is managed by Linley&Simpson. The agent always maintains environment clean and check utilities working well time by time. I recently have to move out because of personal reason and viewed so many properties, feel so tired to do it! Seb Salvati in Linley&Simpson is very professional and so patient and nice to introduce flats to me. I am so glad to rent another flat from Linley&Simpson.

GoogleI have had worked with 3 letting agents, but I’ve got the best experience with Linley and Simpsons Sheffield. After my tenancy ended, I’ve experienced very friendly and compassionate service by Megan Balmforth. And it is the first experience that the refund of deposit is initiated within 10 days of tenancy end. It has helped massively, as a single mum in this time of cost of living crisis. Thank you, I’m extremely grateful to Megan and L&S Sheffield.

We are extremely pleased with efficiency our maintenance issues are handled by Ms. Emma Boot, who has been extremely helpful in rectifying whatever issues we have had so far. She keeps us informed throughout and follows up till the issue is resolved. Her dedication and professionalism is a refreshing change. GoogleLinley & Simpson were attentive and thoughtful letting agents. The property had been well maintained and all the staff were quick to respond to any queries we had and represented our interests when we needed them to. Maintenance requests were easy to make and the contractors from L&S I came into contact with were really helpful and efficient. Lucy, Seb, and Kelly at Linley & Simpson were all super and we would rent through L&S again and recommend them to others.

GoogleWorking with Kelly at Linley & Simpson was unlike any other experience I've had with estate agents to date. Always available on the phone Kelly takes the time to get to know her clients and kept us regularly updated on our rental. She's clearly passionate and very knowledgeable property lettings and her local area. I wish she could manage my other properties too!
