Experience as a renter with Linley & Simpson in general ok, the application process was overly lengthy the online application form doesn't work - we had to fill it out multiple times and eventually just send screenshots which was quite a waste of our time. However, the property manager for our house, Megan, is brilliant - responsive, helpful and clearly cares about her work. She really has been a star in sorting out any issues which have come up with the house. Very much appreciated!

There has been pressure from Linsey Simpson office in sheffield to give them a review online, emails, calls, txts, as it’s a competition with other offices, but we wouldn't give them even 1 star but you can’t add a review on google without a star, this is because-we found out from our local research with other estate agents in Sheffield, and also once we moved in, the house they have put us in is grossly overpriced in terms of rent charges and also the video viewing didn’t capture the full gardens, sides of the house, due to high maintenance which is needed, we were taken advantage of. We will happily the market rates rent but not excessive amounts as per costs of living/inflation period everyone is going through. We some how suspect this is because we are Asians, They probably thinking we are naive of the rental process and current market conditions, first time renters, lack knowledge etc, which is really sad and there’s not much we can do due to contract. We will never recommend them to landlords or tenants.

Dealt with Corey when handing the keys back to the property I rented for the last 4 & half years! Very pleasant and polite, explained the process well and pushed through to get my deposit as soon as poss as my landlord had sold up! The new office at Kelham island is nice & modern and all the staff were pleasant when we arrived. I can't speak highly enough of the service that we have received as new clients of Linley & Simpson. Kelly and her team (specifically Rebecca and Megan) have all been so proactive and professional in all of our dealings with them. Kelly allayed all of our anxieties connected with moving to a new Letting Agent and was very quick to demonstrate her excellent local knowledge of the area and our specific development. One personal touch that we noticed straight away was that Kelly was eager to share her mobile number which not all letting agents are prepared to do and works to conduct viewings, etc at mutually convenient times to suit tenant preferences.
