Having had pretty bad experiences with estate agents during the 5 years I have lived in London, Oakhill finally restored a bit of my faith. We dealt with Vuk who was fantastic, personal, and genuinely came across as if our best interests were his priority - which was really re-assuring. A special thank you to Aimee, who made time for us, listened to our concerns and worked hard on our behalf to negotiate an acceptable completion date. I want to clarify that my reaction is not rooted in personal feelings, but rather in the disparity between the raw facts I provided and the unconfirmed assumptions I received in response. In our discussion, you mentioned that the rent increase was justified on logical, market, and business grounds. I presented specific data, including the current lending rates as of March 2024, with the average 2-year fixed rate being 5.76%, down from its July 2023 peak of 6.86%. Additionally, I highlighted my reliability as a tenant over the past two years, consistently maintaining the property in excellent condition and making timely rent payments. In response, I was directed to an advertisement for a nearby house at a higher price. However, this property remained unleased for 7 weeks, which significantly impacts its annual rental yield. Furthermore, this house is in superior technical condition and has a well-maintained garden, enhancing its living standards. Providing such unverified information to support the rent increase seems unfair. It is my understanding that Oakhill Agency serves both property owners and tenants, and the quality of the tenant should be an important consideration. I expected a more professional and balanced approach from your agency. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Oakhill sold our house for us very quickly and for a great price. The management team were great as was Becky who co- ordinated the viewings with me. She was on hand to answer any queries I had. I haven’t given 5 stars as in my opinion the after sales care has let the team down. Aimee would only ever correspond through email. I was constantly told she was too busy and not always at her desk. When you’re a lady of a certain age the personal touch and being able to speak someone is something that lacked. I never spoke to her once. This is just my personal experience.
