Haart were fantastic! We were buying a property from a seller they represented. We worked with Jazz & Helen, who were extremely responsive throughout the process. Jazz provided fantastic level of communication during the bidding and offer acceptance process. She kept us regularly up to date with discussions and until our offer was accepted. We never felt like we had to chase, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience during one of the most stressful portions of the home buying process. Post offer acceptance, Helen worked tirelessly to help keep all of the parties aligned to the point of exchange. There were 4 parties in our chain, so it was quite a bit of work to keep all the parts moving and aligned and progressing. I am hugely thankful to the team at Haart, and would not hesitate working with or recommending them in the future, although I hope not to be moving again!

As my parents' executor, I was tasked with completing probate and part of this process was to request quotes from a number of agents. Gero met with us and from the time he walked through the front door and spoke to us with kindness and compassion, I knew that our paths would across again. Gero is extremely knowledgeable about the market, honest without exaggeration, highly organised and provided us with a realistic quote for IHT purposes and furthermore provided me with telephone support when I had to respond to the Valuation Office Agency, whilst he was on annual leave. Haart were appointed in January to sell our family home of over forty years. It was a very emotional time for the family to have to let go. Gero worked with us and respected our desire to find a family that would enjoy the space and appreciate the extended work that our parents' put in to their family home during their life time. Jag was appointed as our Account Manager and worked closely with us on finding the 'right' purchaser. What a great guy. The team at Haart Ilford did an amazing job at selling my parents house. Gero came to value our house and straightaway we were so impressed with him - he is confident and approachable, and is very knowledgeable about the market. He gave us an in depth rundown of the process and provided us with a realistic quotation. We liaised with Jazz and Jagdeep for viewings and offers, with things moving swiftly. Jazz is so naturally friendly and very helpful - she communicated with me regularly to give updates and was always available to answer questions. Jag is great at what he does - he provided thorough details, advice and support, and was very transparent and proactive at each stage. Through his expertise, he managed to negotiate an offer that we were extremely happy with. After accepting, Helen took over as our sales progressor and she is excellent. Her communication with me was faultless - she contacted me with updates every few days so I always knew what was happening. She ensured that the process was moving promptly between us, the buyers and solicitors. My family and I were keen to complete the sale as soon as we could, and Helen was a key factor in making sure this happened. The whole process from beginning to end took just over 10 weeks which is a testament to the great service the team provided. I’ve had an extremely negative experience with HART Estate Agents Ilford as a landlord. They placed tenants who failed to pay rent, and once issues arose, communication completely broke down. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are not picked up, and when you do manage to speak to someone, you’re repeatedly told they’re “not the right person” to help. No one takes ownership. As a result of the lack of action and delays, I’ve incurred significant costs, including late mortgage payments, which could have been mitigated with timely communication and basic accountability. What’s most concerning is the complete absence of responsibility, transparency, or a clear plan to resolve the situation. No proactive updates, no explanation of how the issue would be handled, and no meaningful support despite the financial impact on me as a landlord. I would strongly caution other landlords against using HART Estate Agents unless you are prepared to chase constantly and manage problems yourself.
