I wanted a property that Haart were selling and Jazz was my agent for the property I liked. The whole process took about 10 weeks from the viewing. Jazz was always very easy to find and very nice to talk to. She definitely cared about me and the purchase and tried to help with everything I fired at her. Jazz went above and beyond for me sorting out issues with the vendor and we could not have completed in time for Stamp Duty holiday without her help. I also worked with Helen who was the progresson on the transaction. Helen was another angel to me. She was chasing everyone and sending updates so quickly. This was the most painful sale I I have experienced which was compounded by the pandemic and extremely slow solicitors. Better late than never... This review should have been shared at the end of last year when we moved but it is so significant that I felt it deserved to be shared even though it is late. I dealt with Gero (the Ilford branch manager) throughout, Gero sold us the house back in 2006 and I decided to use him as he was still around, he is probably the most experienced estate agent in the area (with +20yrs working in the area). During the pandemic last year, Gero found us a buyer fairly quickly verified them which gave us the confidence to securing our new home. Unfortunately we lost that buyer but as we had found a new place I put pressure on Gero to find us someone quick. Gero rose to the occasion, with blocked weekend viewings, verified buyers and secured a buyer in the space of 3 to 4 days. He is a very experienced, dynamic and pragmatic agent that will get the job done and if he cant or faces issues he will tell you straight up. That is what you need in this process and I fully endorse recommending him and his team as your go to place.

When we decided to have our home valued we engaged with 3 estate agents including Haart. We chose Haart because out of the 3 estate agents Jazz Rai (assistant branch manager for Ilford) was the most enthusiastic about our home. It took us a few weeks to take the plunge and put our house on the market but once we did Jazz promptly came to our home to take measurements and photos and go through the contract with her. In no time our home was on the market and we were very impressed with the quality of the pictures and how our home was described and presented in the brochure. Another key reason we were pleased with our choice of estate agent was how quickly Jazz responded to any questions we had whether by phone or by email. It was reassuring to us that we were in safe hands. We were also very appreciative of the measures that were taken when our home was viewed. We had seven viewings in one hour on the first Saturday after our home was put on the market which we appreciated as it meant less disruption for us. We also appreciated the considerate way the viewings were conducted ensuring that those viewing wore masks, removed footwear or wore coverings over their shoes (provided by Haart) and ensured that on entering hand sanitisers were used. From those seven viewings we had 4 offers on our home and Jazz and the branch partner Gero were able to obtain the position of each potential buyer and advise us whose offer they felt we should accept given the circumstances of each potential buyer. We initially accepted an offer at the asking price but soon after received a call to inform us that two of the potential buyers had increased their offers. Again the position and circumstances of each of the potential buyers was explained to us so we were able to make an informed decision on which offer to accept. As the sale of our home and the purchase of our new home progressed we were looked after by Helen who ensured that everything was kept on track by liaising with all parties involved including the solicitors, estate agents of our buyers and our buyers themselves. Helen ensured we were kept updated so we were never left wondering what was going to happen next. When there were some minor issues Helen helped to quickly resolve these, culminating in a successful exchange of contracts. We have been very impressed with the whole experience and the professional and personal manner in which Haart and in particular Jazz, Gero and Helen have handled the sale of our home, obtaining the best possible price to a family who we hope will enjoy their new home as much as we have for the last 25 years. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wishing to sell their home. Thank you again Gero, Jazz, Helen and your team. Lindsey and Kevin Blackman.
