Possibly one of worst agencies in Hull that charge the absolute maximum to generate the most profit. They took on an old property where the landlady illegally didn't protect my deposit and the property was in awful disrepair. The staff in the office seem ok but when we viewed a property the staff memeber who showed us round didn't want to answer questions or know anything about the property rude and more interested in texting on their mobile. Don't rent with these people unless you have to. They are charging way above average, and poor customer service. Just reading the comments its no surprise that they are taking amounts off deposits and charging tenants for unnecessary things. Especially when they've accepted an awful awful landlord that caused so much distress to my family over this same issue.

I have found lime property as a whole to be an excellent letting agency. I have had experiences in the past with other agencies where they take your money but don't do an awful lot. Lime really do look after you and your property and they are one of the reasons why I am looking to invest in Hull again, because I have piece of mind with the agency. As with all property investment things do go wrong from time to time and I would like to say a big Thank you to ELAINE CLAPPISON for making sure that any maintenance issues are sorted out promptly and usually at a reasonable cost.

I have rented my current address through Lime Properties for over 4 years now and I must say throughout that time they have never failed to operate to the highest levels of professionalism, care and support. My initial letting was speedily expedited by the team who knew how much I wanted the flat. In particular, Elaine Clappison on the property team has been fabulous with any query and always keeps me posted on her communications with all parties to ensure we all know and understand what is happening at every point. She was particularly helpful and very understanding when I had a serious leak in my bathroom and expedited everything quickly and efficiently in complex circumstances. I am so happy where I live and Lime ensures I remain happy and secure. I have friends who rent and let through other agents and have heard some real horror stories. I would recommend anyone to talk to Lime.

I want to thank the letting staff at Lime, particulary Julie and Elaine for the excellent service we have received from them since Lime took over our property a couple of years ago. When you live 6000 miles away, it is very stressful when things go wrong or need fixing. We have had fantastic service from LIme. Communication has been excellent - emails even returned within the hour. Nothing too much trouble. Very informative house inspection reports and photos. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Well done, ladies and thank you from Cape Town. :)

VERY HAPPY! We have rented 2 properties out with Lime Property and have been very impressed with both experiences. With our first, we conducted the viewings ourselves (as we lived here) and wanted to meet and get a feel for tennents viewing. Lime understood with this being our home we wanted to right tennents. They sent wonderful tennents and made the full process easy, communicated well with us and we knew exactly what was going on. With our second property, this was a rental property. Lime gave wonderful honest advice to what rent we should expect and knowledge of competition in the area with other properties. We were very impressed with both experiences. Everyone has a specific job role at Lime so you weren't passed from pillar to post if you had any queries. Any emails or calls were always answered. We HAVE and WILL recommend Lime to anyone. Very, very unprofessional agency. Booked an appointment which they 'forgot' about and showed up late only after I rang the agency. Once I agreed to the property and paid for the reference checks, I *specifically* stated that I couldn't be reached by phone during the day, only e-mail. Once the my references were cleared, they start a barrage of phone calls to me to tell I was approved and wanted me come in and sign the contract, even though I was obviously unable to return the calls. I would seriously advise anyone to think carefully before doing business with these people.
