GoogleKept daughters deposit claiming £54 for a socket £300 ..towards painting (1200) to paint apparently, walls wasn't touched except for picture hooks and they are NOT ALLOWED to charge for full walls ...just touch ups 150 for cleaning carpets ( all floors were laminate) and the property was professionally cleaned before leaving, nice to you when your signing up ,but don't expect deposit back ...look at reviews of past tenants, they rob them all with stupidly high unreasonable "contributions " To repairs .

GoogleKINDLY AVOID!!! These guys are wolves in sheep clothing especially to foreigners. They will lure you in with prospects only for them to get hold of your holding deposit. Next thing will be to tell you that the landlord decided not to proceed with your application and for that reason your holding deposit has expired and will not be refunded. Unfortunately, I was a victim of this their antic and after several correspondence, they came up with AML checks as reason for withholding deposit.

GoogleI was considering either renting or selling my property and needed some advice on my options. Emma Pittaway was really helpful, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Great communication and all calls returned quickly even outside of office hours on one occasion. Highly recommended.

GoogleRobotic and impolite. Not deveating from the list of questions in front of her the agent had no inclination to engage in a conversation about what I was looking for or to help. As a prospective tenant and also searching to purchase (not that we got far enough to have that conversation) I will give this place a wide birth. The agent lacked knowledge in their properties and rudely insisted I look on the website instead. Do not confuse being professional with being rude and dismissive. Avoid! If this is them before they get your money imagine how bad it would be after!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality

GoogleI would urge ANYONE considering to let from Lime to proceed with caution. I have had the misfortune of having to rent for the majority of my adult life and never have I seen a company so hell bent on extracting so much from my deposit as this company. They referenced a number of completely fictitious faults with the property to such an extent it amounted to over £2,000! Unsurprisingly, many of their claims were dismissed and they were not even awarded the full deposit such was the transparency of their lies. I cannot stress enough, photograph and write down everything, because they will try and fleece you down the line. Likewise, do take the time to read their reviews on here, ensuring you ignore the generic 5* clearly written by the staff reviews that stick out like a sore thumb with the following format: 'INSERT NAME was INSERT COMPLIMENT.. LIME PROPERTY ARE GREAT'.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleThey're so badly rated for a reason.. I have rented alot of properties in different cities and countries and I have never dealt with a company as shady as Lime. Ironically enough, they're as incompetent as they are dishonest and actually sent pictures to TDS disproving alot of the claims they made against us, which cost them money. Bitter sweet and quite funny. Word of advice - Take pictures of EVERYTHING as soon as you move in and as soon as you leave. GoogleSo we used this company to rent our home. It was very quick from start to finish, we were kept upto date about everything. We were never in the dark about what was happening. Lauren looked after us, and she has been very calm, responsive, professional and friendly the whole way through! I suffer with anxiety and was constantly worrying and calling about things and she kept me sane and calm and ensured me everything will be fine and it will be worth the wait, and it was. We applied on 8th January and moved in on 30th January and we are absolutely over the moon. Even the kids are super excited! Thank you so much lime. XPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWe were some of the unlucky tenants that signed up with Marlborough and found ourselves with Lime when Marlborough closed overnight and we were moved over with no choice. We left our property after the best part of five and a half years there and Lime tried to claim we caused over £1500 worth of damage to the property with a series of bizarre and extortionate claims (including £55 for a new lightbulb). We disputed our deposit through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and have just found out that we’ve been awarded the majority of our deposit back (minus a fiver for the lightbulb). Take photos of everything and dispute your deposit if you don’t agree with their decision - I am glad I did because TDS have vindicated how dishonest and disorganised they are. 1 star because I can’t leave a zero.

GoogleUtterly unprofessional ! Wanted to book a viewing, ilona emailed to confirm if I was available on a specific date and time, and I responded in 20 minutes confirming I am. No response to that email, until a day before I called and talked to ilona, that's what she had to say "Oh we were not sure if we were going to get your confirmation, so we've booked in someone else on that time, next available date would be 1.5 weeks from now".. and she continued to sound silly as much we talked after that, no flexibility, no adjustments, not even "I'll try to.." GoogleWe have just gone through renting a property with lime....gonna be honest the whole experience has been stressful but that is mainly down to referencing and the company they use just being so slow....!! GoogleLime property manage my property since 2018 and their customer service is excellent. They respond to the queries very quickly and I never had to follow up. If I ask for multiple quotes, they would go out and fetch them. They engage the right resources to fix any issues at the property and rates are competitive. My properties went on the market very quickly, thanks to Lime property team. All the best.

GoogleRented a property for a year. Mostly fine until moving out. Totally OTT check out report, very petty. Getting charged for things already there like a small chip in the worktop, but didn’t have a photo (why would I). And light cleaning £250.00. Charging me for a dirty floor after viewings of people trampling all over it after I had moved out. Don’t expect to see your deposit back, 7 weeks and still waiting!
