I would like to thank Steve and especially Spencer for their most helpfulness in viewing properties to rent in Hove on Tuesday 14th July. Although, in the end, we decided on another propert, their friendly but professional approach was second to none. Not always the case with other agencies as we discovered! The company's employee, Thomas, who scheduled an appointment for me to see a house at 4 o'clock on the same day, called me one minute before 4 and hung up, then sent me an email apologizing that the house had already been rented out. I had to cancel my meeting and go back to the office at 3 for this house. It was very disappointing to have to wait outside the house with my spouse in the freezing cold and strong winds. This was really unprofessional of them.

I let myself get completely scammed into taking no deposit insurance by leaders. They didn't explain it to me and I stupidly signed the agreement despite asking repeatly for clarity. It ended up costing me over 1k. I complained in their office when it became clear what had happened but the staff member just smirked and said 'you signed the contract'. During the tenancy the tradesmen they sent over to my poor landlords house were awful. In some cases they made problems a lot worse. No-one was checking the work for quality or if it had even been completed. I contacted the landlord myself in the end so he knew what was going on.

Leaders have been exceptional throughout our time with them ( nearing 3 years). Tbh they have totally changed my personal view on estate agents, which is quite something I assure you. When things go wrong they have acted in a timely manner most of the time. The missing star is down to previous staff sometimes needing prompting / chase ups. This has improved since Charlotte became our property manger & she has been proactive in most cases. Thinking outside of the box without prompting at times which is always good to see. The fact that the property owner whose flat we live in lives in Spain & she can normally get a plan of action in place within a couple days max is of commendable note. Overall I am very pleasantly surprised with the professional and personal service delivered by Leaders in Hove

Although I regret not double-checking this information myself, I relied on their professionalism to provide accurate details. This oversight caused a lot of frustration.
