I wanted to rent a flat with them, made an offer, for the flat they have on Clarence Square, for £875 a month, 1 bedroom. So i made an offer, but kate in the office said the landlord wants to see me first, no need to worry. I agreed to meet her at the property. When she finally arrived, we went to sit in the small park in front of the flat. She started off asking me how did i get the passport, as i am moldovian and am not part of the EU. That is when she started talking about how eastern europeans are spreading through Brighton and that she, an english, has to pay taxes we benefit from and live here. She talked about how she hates us and that we should all get back to our country, that she wants to rent to a nice english girl, but all she gets is us. By the way she is indian, called Nina, who moved to Brighton apparently when she was young. After that i called the agency, told them about the situation, they said they were sorry, that they will look into it, however they did not seem to care at all because 5 minutes later when i rang them again they forgot about the whole thing. I had to remind them. They asked me if i'm interested in another property as if nothing happened.

Nick was really helpful. I’d seen some terrible flats the last two months, and he showed me four in one afternoon, one of which I took. The lettings process was quick and simple. Upon leaving my flat, Jessica was kind enough to put me in touch with the new tenants so I could sell my washing machine, which was very good of her. Lovely staff at the Hove branch.
