I cannot speak highly enough of the Leaders team in Hove. Renting suitable accommodation is not easy when living abroad, especially my son with me as well. I rented my first property through Leaders Hove on my return from Australia. I was unfamiliar with the market and the team made the process as straightforward as possible. I would like to acknowledge by name however Francesca Cranford as my property manager during my tenancy. She was outstanding in her ability to work on behalf in some necessary and tricky negotiations with the owner of the property on a number of matters and it was clear that she took great care in protecting the interests of both parties. There is no doubt that being in the middle at times must make it a really tough job but Francesca dealt with all communications professionals but also good humour and empathy. She is an asset to the team there and I wish her well in her career in the property industry.

We all know how tough the rental market has been lately, with properties being snatched up in the blink of an eye. So, after enduring five or more disappointing phone calls about potential rentals already being taken, I was feeling pretty disheartened. That's when I decided to check out a sales agency on Church Road for some guidance, and boy, am I glad they pointed me to Leaders! As soon as I stepped into their office, I knew I was in for something special. I started renting quite an expensive property through Leaders recently and so far have found everything about the service Daisy from lettings provided absolutely unmatchable. From the start she was extremely accommodating, even when I accidentally got the time for viewing wrong by an entire day she was able to be with me in just 15 minutes to view it so there was no need for me to make another trip the next day. At the viewing Daisy was professional in both appearance and attitude, I loved her colourful nails too, they definitely highlight her bright, bubbly personality and made me feel more at ease that I was parting with my money towards a friendly company. In terms of getting all the paperwork done, she made it incredibly easy, letting me know everything that was needed so I could collect it all together and send it over. I was in my new property within five days, which although may not always be possible is definitely indicative of Daisy and Leaders Hove's attention to efficiency. Over all the experience I've had has been fantastic so far. I was anxious about moving in the middle of a rental crisis but Leaders Hove made it completely stress free. I'd recommend them to anyone.

If we could’ve given a 0-star rating, we would have. OMG can this estate agent in Hove be any worst? From not being able to answer the phone or having their phone system down for an entire day to forgetting about a viewing appointment! We had to chase down the estate agent, who will remain nameless as not to embarrass her, to confirm the appointment. Whilst we were not able to confirm with her directly, the head office did indeed confirm the appointment with that estate agent for today at 2pm. We got to the property some 10 minutes before the viewing time. First thing we noticed was a ‘Sold’ sign on the property. We phoned the Hove office, but of course we were transferred to the head office. We spoke to Gabriella who tried her best to help us. “Has this property been sold? Why weren’t we advised?”. She wasn’t able to answer either question. A few minutes past our viewing time, we rang the office again and spoke to someone else who tried her best to help. She couldn’t see our viewing time although it had been confirmed the day before by someone else at head office (remember the Hove office’s phone system was down). We asked this person to please get in touch with the agent. Sure enough within a few minutes the agent rang us. By then we had decided to leave the property as we were booked for another viewing. The first question she asked was: “what property are we talking about?” “Are you serious?”, said I. That got my blood boiling to say the least. “Sorry about that, we’re really short staffed”, she continued. That’s your excuse for not showing up? What a joke. We are serious cash buyers. Rest assured we will likely avoid any Leaders listings from now on! Get your act together if you want to be taken seriously. SERIOUSLY!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

The one area that has improved a lot has been the property management - since Charlotte Falk took over as the property manager for the flat I rented, I have found the service and communication much better. Emails were responded to and telephone calls returned - which didn't always happen before. Would be happy to use Leaders for rental in the future.

I am really satisfied with my 2 years renting through leaders in Hove. The whole process has been really easy and my property manger Charlotte has been really consistent with communication and although sometimes it can be difficult to get through on the phone I understand that it has been really difficult through the Pandemic and emails are usually responded to very quickly. The relationship between leaders and my landlord seems to be really good so therefor helps me if there are any issues which need addressing. It's been the best 2 years of my life living in Brighton in this beautiful flat and I believe a massive part of that is the easy and friendly relationship between all parties regarding renting. Happy to be a part of leaders and thank you to Charlotte who has been managing my queries for the past two years, it is really appreciated.
