After spending 9 months trying to sell my House with another agent i changed to Jacobs Steel Lancing and things started to move straight away. Good, photos, descriptions, distribution etc.and viewings in the first week with offers shortly after. Friendly supportive discussions which showed a drive to sell and Professionalism. A pleasant experience after 9 months of almost the opposite.

GoogleRichard and his team worked really hard to secure our sale, even as we lost buyer after buyer and the road got a bit bumpy. Richard was personable yet professional and had excellent knowledge of the market, and obviously has a lot of experience as he was able to answer every question we threw at him, and always knew and could explain the best approach to take. He was also able to recommend other services (such as surveyors, solicitors and other services required in purchasing and selling a home) at the drop of a hat. One star dropped due to personal preference about communication style - Richard likes to communicate multiple pieces of information at a time, even if that means not being in touch for a few days at a time as he works in the background. I would personally have preferred more regular, minor updates, but I do understand that that would probably be a less efficient approach and would reduce Richard's ability to actually get the sale done! All in all, we would recommend Jacobs Steel, and Richard's team to get your sale completed in a professional manner.

Google10/10 ! Jacobs Steel recently helped us purchase our first home. From our first viewing of the property to collecting the keys, they were very supportive and helpful. Richard in particular was always very friendly and, on the rare occasion he didn't answer the phone, always phoned us back very quickly. Would easily recommend Jacobs Steel to anyone thinking of selling/buying in Sussex, especially first time buyers as they explained things clearly without ever sounding condescending. GoogleFantastic advice and support during what was a very challenging time. Richard went above and beyond to facilitate the success of our sale. He was the only person moving jt forward as the solicitors were not invested in it at all. He was always at the end of the phone or email finding answers when he was unsure. Without him and the rest of the team, the sale would not have gone through. It was a long process and we are all so relieved it is now complete. Prior to even being committed to anything, Matt offered advice and help in regards to selling and letting. I felt I could ask anything and nothing was deemed too small or insignificant.

Everyone i dealt with was friendly, professional and couldn't have done more to help me through the 'moving house ordeal' an especial HUGE thank you to Richard Wetherall/sales negotiator. Richard worked tirelessly to get a very difficult chain through to the end. Without his determination and constant chasing of rubbish solicitors I'm in no doubt the chain would have collapsed. .. Neil was fantastic he answered all our questions and he was with us for every step of our application, he really made us feel supported and like he was on our team. He made sure we got approved in time for our move so everything went so smoothly! Since moving he has been checking in and continuing to support us in our tenancy. Overall we had a fantastic experience with Neil, and I recommend jacobs steel to anyone looking for a new home.

GoogleIf you are looking for an estate agent who’s best interest is the welfare of the their clients then I can’t recommend Jacob Steel enough. Myself and husband recently moved to a new house and were struggling to adapt to a new area (even though it’s only a ten minute drive from where we used to live). We kept going backwards and forwards about whether we wanted to stay. So we decided to get an evaluation with Jacob Steel with the idea we may put the house on the market. Adam couldn’t have been more informative and honest. He really liked our house and ended up reselling the house back to us! He spent a good amount of time sharing his knowledge regarding the market and the potential for a home like ours. He really knew his stuff about the local community and helped us to realise what a great position we are currently in. My Husband and I had a long discussion about our new found feelings for our lovely house and are incredibly grateful for Adams’s time and honesty, otherwise we may have made a very big mistake! If we are to move in the future we will not hesitate to choose Jacob Steel as our estate agent. They have a very refreshing client first approach to real estate! Has brought us a lot of closure. Google‘Thank you’ doesn’t come close to describing my gratitude towards all at Jacob Steel, particularly Richard. As a first time buyer, I didn’t expect to receive as much support, guidance and reassurance from the vendors ‘ estate agent. However, I feel incredibly lucky the vendor chose Jacob Steel and I received the level support I have, particularly towards date of completion. Richard was always available via email and phone (sometimes more so than my own solicitor!). Whilst I do not intend on moving any time soon, Jacob Steel will be my first point of call when I consider selling my property in the future. Highly recommend to all!

My parents passed away, so we were selling their property. Greg dealt with what was a very emotional process superbly. He was very empathetic and personable when we initially met and that's what made us choose Jacob Steel. Throughout he always had time to talk through things and didn't hurry or rush us to make decisions. The way he handled the sale was great and he went the extra mile. The house sold quickly and negotiations between the buyer and us were seamless. Rachel the Sales Progressor was very efficient and made the sale go through really easy without any trouble.

The whole team at the Goring Road branch are very friendly but with a natural manner as opposed to the slick, shallow and sharp threaded approach you often get with many agents. Advice was honest and in my view correct when it came to setting a sale price. Being a shared ownership sale it was more complex and time consuming but was still completed within about 20 weeks from going to market and completion despite some tardy work by solicitors involved in the short chain of three. The head of the team was very good at chasing things up across the chain. It's a stressful process but in the end it all went well.
