I had tried to sell with a couple of local agents - with no success, so decided to give JS a try. I was hesitant as they were new to our area (Woodingdean) Very impressed- we had viewings very quickly and accepted an offer. We quickly found a place we wanted to buy (coincidentally with Jacob Steel at West Worthing) and had our offer accepted. Unfortunately our buyer dropped out just before exchange ☹ - so we were in danger of losing both sale and purchase. However, JS pulled out all the stops and were able to negotiate some time with our sellers in order for them to find us another buyer. They did indeed quickly find us another buyer and we were able to agree price, exchange and complete very quickly (within some now very tight timescales needed by our sellers) Adam Seymour at Jacob Steel Hove was brilliant. I have been dealing with Letting Agencies for over 20 years and Jacobs Steel is definitely standing out of all the agencies on the market as one of the best indeed. Selling/buying a property is never a straight forward process, but the one we have been dealing with has been particularly challenging. We initially marketed our flat with the go-to local agents with a big presence but found them pretty apathetic, an opinion I then found mirrored by others. After three weeks with little interest I spoke to Matt at Jacobs Steel and was immediately impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and likability. There was no hard sell and he was extremely courteous to our existing position but his sound marketing advice and obvious integrity was enough to convince me to switch to JS. His small Brighton team quickly lined up several viewings. They're super friendly and driven and kept us well informed at all stages. Lianna did an amazing job connecting with our rather emotional buyer on both her viewings and Harry was always so friendly and helpful with regular communications. We recently brought a property where Jacobs Steel in Hove were acting for the sellers. Adam was absolutely amazing and did what our own estate agent and solicitor should have been doing! He was always there for us and manged both our estate agent and solicitor to get them going and he had to do this on numerous occasions! Not professional. They put my property up as sold the first day some customer made an offer.took it off the market for more than 2 months in the spring .the best time to sell a house l when on the inter net and found out they were not in a position to buy my house .hence l have had a bill from my solicitor.l have been in touch with fine & country who were selling my buyers property .and the have put in writing this property has never been sold .contrary to jacobsteel who said they are telling lies . The stress has been terrible . I do not recommend Jacob steel
