JS were sole agent on our house sale and did a great job in getting a sale within 9 days, with 4 offers at or above the guide price levels that other agents were positioning. Importantly it wasn't just the viewings that they did well but the communication from Adam, Harry and Richard and the relentless chasing down of the whole chain to achieve a swift completion against a tight deadline was really fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from Jacobs Steel! The whole team has been very reactive and useful from day 1. I'd highly recommend them! We sold our house really quickly but then got stuck and couldn’t find anything within our area and budget for months. The team went above and beyond to help us view places. Sold our flat really quickly, then when our buyers fell out down the line, Adam managed to get another buyer again within 48hours! The newly(ish) opened branch of JS in Hove, were during the COVID 19 crisis, most professional at all times. Especially, the agents marketing of my property, and their viewing handling, (with PPE and etc). Although, it wasn't until Richard Wetherall (the Sales Progressor), came and joined the party - as without him the sale would not have been effected. The government had initiated a Stamp Duty period of reduced rates, and as my property did not fall into this category for my buyers, we all thought it would never get over the line, as the solicitors were keen to exploit this avenue of revenue moreso. He was diligent, persistent and tenacious - at all times when assisting me with solicitors and the concomitant chain in the sale and purchase that needed to be finalised before the end of November 2021. This was ultimately realised, just - the bottle of French red is on the way Richard. Thank you ever so much for all that you have done, 34 years was a long time in my property, without you and Jacobs Steel, I would probably have stayed there for another 34 years, much to the chagrin of my wife!PositiveProfessionalism

Couldn't have asked for more from an Estate Agent. I was selling and they had a pool of buyers to view the property which was an excellent start. Given a property file account so all viewings, times & outcomes were easily accessible and all in one area. I put an offer in on a house and jacob steel never got back to me. I had to chase and got a rude email back from Matt the area manager saying i had won the property but was beratting me about it. Turns out he thought I was another customer and sending me her private details too. When I addressed his rudeness and breach of GDPR shrugged it off like it happens every day and it's no big problem. I wrote an email of complaint and guess who wrote back and closed the complaint. The area manager Matt. They have then tried booking to see my other flats I'm selling through another agency without my permission and even called my estate agents to try and get keys. I was so taken aback by the sheer audacity of jacob steel iv had to reach out to leave this review. They have no idea what they are doing and have no organisation skills. I wouldn't trust them to sell lemonade on a stand let alone a property. Very un trustworthy very un professional

Jacobs Steel -Brilliant all round- delighted- best in WorthingI have dealt with many agents over the years but I have to say this was the best experience I have had to date. Greg the sales manager advised a sensible approach, highlighting issues that stand out to potential buyers. I felt more than confident in Jacobs Steel hands with regular updates from the highly efficient Laura the branch manager, who leads a real team. With other agents I lost contact with the guys in the office as once the sale is agreed they then refer you to a ‘progressor’ who does not know you, never met you and does not know your circumstances. Jacobs Steel has expert knowledge of the Worthing market, has a good list of potential buyers, a willingness to be proactive and call those buyers and the marketing skills to show your property in the best light. I would highly recommend Jacobs Steel, and have used them for buying and selling.
