GoogleHaving contacted a lot of estate agents in Brighton area to rent a flat we found them unhelpful until we contacted Finn at H,W. Estate Agents. from first contact until the handing over of the keys Finn went out of his way to ensure it went as smooth as possible and kept us informed along the way , but more importantly treated us as if we were important as customers .Could not recommend this young man enough .

GoogleJack was very professional and accommodating. The flat was exactly as described, no silly wide angle lenses unlike others I saw, and I made an immediate offer (well, as soon as I got home) and the rest of the process was a breeze and I had the keys and was moving in within a fortnight.

GoogleHighly recommend the HW team! Adam and Shaun sold our flat, they worked really hard, were very communicative and held our hands throughout the process (us having been burned by a previous sale with another agent falling through). They were really easy to work with, got us loads of viewings and the sale price we wanted, and Adam worked hard to see everything through to completion, all whilst being super friendly and lovely to deal with.

GoogleI first spoke with Adam from HW over a year ago now about selling a property in Hove. he gave at the time a valuation which as it has turned out was by far the most accurate reflection of the market right now. He was from day 1 very courteous and knowledgeable about the local area We eventually opted for another agent and went to market at the start of 2024, we changed agent a few months later for a fresh approach before eventually returning to Adam in the late Summer. Throughout this time he was persistent in letting us know how keen he was to market the property and offering his advice, always available to help with any questions. From the moment he returned the property to the market the service from him and his colleagues in the Hove office was absolutely superb, the best by far and I would recommend them to anyone local looking to go to market and we are so happy his proactive attitude got the house sold

GoogleAlthough HW have a very friendly team, my experience as a tenant looking to rent with them has been absolutely shocking and simply not good enough. The process of entering tenancy with HW estate agents has been tumultuous to say the least and completely mismanaged at worst. My friends and I maintained communication, paid all relevant fees and deposits on time, and remained open and flexible to make things easier for both the agent and the landlord. We were met with five total pushbacks of our move-in date, a serious lack of communication and a general disregard for our time and effort. A note to the both the agency and the landlord: the act of a deep clean after a messy tenant has moved out is not you ‘doing us a favour’ - it’s actually a contractual obligation - one that was not fulfilled, leading to a breach of contract. While I understand that this was not the fault of any lone individual or party, I would suggest that working with incompetent landlords seriously impacts your reputation, let alone the lives of tenants who simply want a place to live in an increasingly difficult rental market. Edit: I have upgraded the review purely because the care and attentiveness of both Kyle and Ella. As stated before, the team at HW on the ground level are very friendly and professional; my dismay is more with the lack of organisational governance, as well as checks and balances within the client management procedures.

GoogleGreat little estate agents warmly welcomed when I arrived even got a warm welcome by the dog..great bunch of staff couldn't thank them enough for getting me in my flat so quick...so thank you to Shaun cook for everything and Dan for the viewing even know I thought he was the waiter at the coffee shop standing outside
