I’ve used brand Vaughn for 10 years now…

I’ve used brand Vaughn for 10 years now on a few of my rentals and the service is always professional. Great communication about potential tenants and their situations, always great tenants with no issues and a smooth, reasonable transaction. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I never feel intimidated if I have a question to ask about a particular tenant that may concern me or general finance query. I would most certainly recommend brand Vaughn to anyone who is thinking of letting their property out. They make it all so easy.

Very good experience. They went over and above to make sure everything was sorted. When my consultant was away, the rest of the team picked up the file, which is very good customer service. Very good at keeping me informed on the progress throughout the process. Would recommend there services to anyone looking to sell their property.

Disappointing customer service

In my recent research for a house in Brighton, I noticed that this agency offered many options, especially for students so I sent them an email, and later on, I got a call from Abby. I said to her that I would call her back in a short while because I needed to talk something through with my partner. I called multiple times and another woman answered, which sounded quite bored and didn't bother to help me through after I asked about the properties that they are offering. She said that Abby would call me back and I haven't heard from them since. I only received a promotional email of a random property by someone named Mollie, to which I replied asking for information and for properties meeting my standards and still so answer. Very disappointing customer service.

Unfit to operate in their sector.

This agency is utterly useless, bordering on negligent. I have had zero heating in my rented flat for 4 years, coupled with a serious damp and mould issue. The windows are rotten to the extent there is no sealant and you can literally put your finger through the gaps in the corners. I have reported this time and time again with photos and videos and have been met with complete apathy every time. The last year working from home in this flat has been unbearable. I have had various tradespeople agree it is dangerous and hazardous to health yet never had a single visit from Brand Vaughn. Until i submitted my notice to move out last month that is. Since then I have had various emails phone calls and visits, purely to ensure they can rerent the property to the next unsuspecting sucker. The bottom line is they care about nothing but the bottom line and have zero regard for your health and safety.

I recently bought a house through Brand Vaughan. The viewing agent was very friendly and helpful as were most of the staff. The issue is with one particular member of staff who unfortunately will probably handle your sale / purchase. An extremely aggressive and horribly pressurising individual. From viewing to completion my house purchase was only 4 weeks which is incredibly fast in the UK. The selling agent could not have been more pressurising through the entire process and several times I considered dropping out due to their deeply unpleasant and aggressive manner. It's a shame as the rest of the staff are actually a very helpful and friendly bunch. Speaking to both my solicitor and other friends who have used this agent they all say the same about this individual. They are really letting this estate agency down. As a buyer very unpleasant to deal with and if I was a seller I would not want this person to represent me.

Could do with better communication

We tried buying a property through Brand Vaughan. Their photographer is probably the best photographer in the UK - this means that the pictures "oversell" the houses they have.Person A spoke to us regarding the property, Person B showed up to show us around the property, Person C got in touch after our offer was accepted and said Person D will be responsible for the purchase. Person D never bothered to write to us or speak with us and returned my call only because we pulled out of the purchase. The communication between persons A, B, C and D and in general the communication style of person D left a lot to be desired. As a result, we are now not looking at anything through Brand Vaughan.

Beyond useless

Beyond useless! Poor communication throughout the lettings process and just abysmal at finding suitable and reliable tenants. The main priority would appear to get anyone in, regardless how their references stack up, and get you on their books and start charging you a handling fee. I've now last eight months rent (and counting) due to their ineptitude in sourcing tenants who can actually pay. On top of this, they're an absolute nightmare to deal with and I've been pushed around from pillar to post on just about everything. The only time they are quick off the mark is when they can bill you for something and presumably take their cut. Avoid.

One of the most unhelpful lettings agents with the rudest staff. Called up showing interest in a property and the staff member on the other side of the phone was rude, unhelpful and sounded like they quite frankly couldn't be bothered. Was promised a video tour to be sent through by end of day, let's say I'm not suprised it never came through. Glad I checked reviews after my bad experience and can now stay fully clear of them.
